Just one small step to more freedom
I was so excited to get this. I have been trying to hike more and bathrooms have always been an issue. There was one trip I thought an adult diaper would work great - nope…don’t do it (the list is endless as to “why”). So, I had read about various urination devices and figured why not. I read so many reviews. There could be other products that are amazing, but this is the only one I have tried and can vouch for. I was concerned about #1 overflowing, #2 size #3 storage #4 cleanliness.#1 overflowing - get to know your anatomy. There is no way to overflow this thing if you put it up against your skin in the right spot. So…get to know your anatomy and put it on your urethra (pee hole). (I was worried other devices would overflow but the physics for this one just made sense in not being able to actually overflow)#2 size - it’s not too big. I think it could fit in a smal pencil bag.#3 storage - it comes with a very small ziploc style bag with the sliding plastic piece. It works for the interim until you get something a bit more permanent. I got a waterproof zipper bag from a ultra lite hiking gear store.#4 cleanliness - this is hydrophobic so after gently shaking it off after use it will be dry minus maybe a spot or two. It can be rinsed pretty easily and cleaned easily. Cleaning the inside is harder since it is narrow but as long as you maintain cleaning it shouldn’t be too hard. Now, there is a drawback to this device. I tried very hard to attempt to use this while wearing pants. The angles are just all wrong. Think of anatomy here. Zippers on pants are made for dudes. Their outdoor plumbing comes off the front. Unfortunately a zipper with female anatomy does nothing. Even with this device the angle is wrong. The access should be in the crotch seam, so, as such, I did not feel I could do this without dropping drawers a bit. (I have since bought pants that may work with the device but have not had a chance to test it out yet). If you are ok with exposing a bit, it should work out. Hiking in a dress or tunic you should be fine. Hiking with lose shorts should also be ok.I found using this for tent camping was fantastic especially when there were no bathrooms nearby. It is easy to use an old water bottle to collect pee and then take care of it later.Alright, so success rate is what I also need to know. I have only used a few times. Once I got past the learning curve it has been fine. I didn’t get a chance to practice in a bathroom or shower before taking the plunge like some reviewers did. Thanks to last minute delivery it came right before skipping town to go hiking. Nothing like figuring it out on the fly. It is still mentally very weird for me to say “it’s ok to pee here…you won’t pee on yourself”. But that is a hard one to overcome mentally.I’m sure I’m missing other details but hopefully this helps you out.

Read reviews with a grain of salt
Update: I just got back from our month long trip through Asia with my Pibella. I traveled in a group with roughly 20 women and I was the only one who brought this type of item. It worked flawlessly for me on my trip and came in handy when traveling through busy airports with nasty dirty bathrooms to traveling through rural country side and having to pee in the bushes. I did find myself washing it after each use when water was available. The Pibella was very useful especially when others would complain that toilet paper wasn’t available or only ground toilets were available. A lot of places we gravel when camping and so forth have dirty nasty toilets so I will continue to take this with me even on routine daily errands.Update: Some women questioned the cleanliness of using a product that actually has to touch you vs the funnel or cup style. So to address that I am having a hard time imagining using this more than once without washing the portion that inserts. I may carry Sani wipes with this to clean that portion after use. Furthermore this is messy to use when on your period since it does require insertion into the V@**nal canal. I have been solely using this device for four days now and have just recently experienced reliable success. I found reliable success after making sure that there wasn’t any excess skin caught in the Pibella, it needs to make a flush seal inside of the Labia minora and sit below the anterior portion of the vulva. There is no need to slow or control the flow with this device.Original ReviewSome Reviews seem either very against or in excessive favor of this product so please read each review but don’t rely on them solely when judging this product. As a registered nurse myself I chose this product over the Pstyle because it offered the ability to cleanly pee. In other words I can use this and not have to worry about using public restrooms or toilet paper while traveling in remote foreign countries because after using this there isn’t a mess down there to clean up. The item just arrived yesterday and I have used it three or four times in practice and it’s not intuitive and it is going to take me quit a bit of practice but I was prepared for the learning curve after reading and watching many product reviews. Every woman’s urethra is going to be in a slightly different location and at a slightly different angle so don’t expect to be able to use this straight out of the package even if other women report flawless use. For me I do have to place this internal of the Labia with a slight bit of applied pressure to create a really good seal so that i don't pee all over myself. Once the seal is in place this thing works amazingly! Now I just want to drink a lot of vitamin water so I can keep peeing in this thing!Pros:I like the no mess clean peeIt came with a blue carrying bagCompact, discrete, and light weightGreat feeling, non irritating material used in the making of the pibellaCons:I think I am still going to have to remove my pants in order to use this, at no fault of the product. Most of my hiking and outdoor pants don’t have any zipper or button access.

Works okay, a little uncomfortable
I have tried about five different female urination devices now. This is my 2nd favorite. It feels a bit uncomfortable to get it in place. I was concerned that it would leak, but it did not. It is not as uncomfortable as the sharp edged SheeWee, but it doesn't hold a candle to my favorite. Freshette is my favorite and I think it is the absolute best. I was hoping this might be a little more compact. At this point, I find Freshette compact enough and it is so much more comfortable and easier to use.

Begeistert
Bin wirklich begeistert.
