Works as Advertised
Plugged in device to VCR/DVD combo + Wii to Samsung 65"OLED TV ... all devices worked! Straight forward to switch from VCR mode to Wii. Package came with power cable (+ block), HMDI cable and of course 2 for 1 RCA to HMDI box. Power off/on switch, nice to incorporate in design.

Works with PS2 and Nintendo Wii
Nothing really bad to say about this. The power switch is a good touch, but I'm not a fan of the cord to power it. It's a preference only because space around my entertainment center is pretty tight and can cause an issue, but if space isn't a big deal, then it won't be a big deal to you. The buttons to switch inputs or aspect ratios are nice and "clicky" feeling. I tried using the 16:9 aspect for my PS2, but wasn't a fan. Besides, you don't play old school games that are in a 4:3 format originally and try to warp them to 16:9...it doesn't work that way The Wii originally used RCA cables for 480p(?) quality, and the optional component cables to bump it to 720p. Maybe it was 720p originally and went to 1080p. Whatever it is, the 16:9 aspect ratio for the Wii is just fine and I don't have any issues with the lower 480/720/whatever picture quality. I'd go ahead and grab it.

It’s Alright
It’s easy to use and hassle free, not to mention cheap for what you get. The aspect ratio switch is a godsend for those with a monitor who can’t stand a stretched image look. While it does its purpose well and I think it’s probably great for most people to use, this tiny device does come with a few annoyances. First I’ll mention the cable direction where you have cables coming out of one end and the opposite end of the device and it’s not very compact once you have it plugged in. The next topic to talk about is of course the image quality. The resolution as others have mentioned doesn’t look to be 480p or 480i and it’s less defined than watching the same device plugged in directly to a tv. There is some screen tearing or what looks to be like screen tearing on the horizontal axis which can be somewhat bothersome and there is a bit of ghosting when images pan around which makes the overall motion feel not too fluid only in certain cases. One of my biggest gripes however is the way it forces you to use low black levels if you chose the 4:3 aspect ratio because the black levels will be raised on the sides of the screen as shown in the photos if set to normal or non-low. This wouldn’t be a massive problem if the rest of the color reproduction was good but since this is RCA it has a limited color gamut so the low black level option tends to crush blacks and make the image very dark. So with a 4:3 aspect ratio your best bet is to use normal black levels in order for the image quality not to suffer. Also the image this device was putting out of my PS2 was not centered. It was slightly aligned to the right but it actually wasn’t a massive issue once you’re focused on what’s on the screen. To finish this review on a positive note, I did not have any issues with sound and the audio levels were actually very clear with very little buzzing which is to be expected with RCA but the device did a great job handling that aspect. All in all for the price you pay it’s solid. Yes it has drawbacks but in order to remove those annoyances for those who care you have to spend 10x more and this little device is essentially the baseline when it comes to RCA to HDMI converters. I’ll actually use it and keep it as a backup once I’ve decided to spend more on a product which fixes my list of cons but I can see this being a very solid product for most people.

Works with ps2 playing ps1 games.
I bought this to play ps1 games on my ps2. I had a different converter box that would not display ps1 games due to the resolution and my tv not recognizing it. So if you need a converter for this reason, this is a good choice. I haven’t played much on it but it worked the hour I used it.

Great device!!!
This is a great device to connect 2 dvd players with 3 rca jacks( video and left and right audio) to a tv with hdmi but no rca input jacks. It’s very versatile and so very easy to use! I highly recommend this device and seller to all!

Devices Old and New!
Works perfectly! I have a Wii, GameCube, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 hooked up to mine, feeding into my computer through an HDMI capture dongle, and I am now able to play all four on my PC through this switch using OBS. Love it!

Does not seem to work with my DVD player, Vizio TV and Apple TV
This looked so promising as I have a Toshiba DVD player that only has RCA output and wanted to connect it to my Vizio TV and Apple TV convo which both only have HDMI. So this seemed exactly to provide a solution. However, after I plugged them into this unit, I do not get any picture or sound. All I get it black screen and no sound. I tried switching ports, cables still not working.

A decent quality A/D Video converter, you can choose in between 4:3/16:9 screen ratios and it has two sets of analogue inputs. Only downside is you can't control input levels.

Most converters change analog 4:3 to hdmi 16:9, resulting in a horizontally stretched image, completely useless! This converter however, gives the right aspect ratio.

Le power adapter est supposé être livré dans le colis. Il manque celui-ci. Un peu déçu.

Device functions as advertised but has horrible input lag. the product doesn;t state power rating required through USB but I found a spec of 5V 1a elsewhere for the same item. Made sure to use correct power input and used a better quality HDMI cord and still VERY perceptible input lag with my N64 on a 4k sony tv. do not buy if you plan to play any games that require fast inputs (racing, platformers, etc.)
