If you're a connoisseur, you're not buying these cakes from Amazon. These were tasty, not stale, and had a good presentation. Since they were a gift, because why else would you buy these from Amazon, presentation is everything. Mission accomplished.

My Taiwanese friend recommended this to be the best of all Pineapple cakes when I tried one other kind and was disappointed. I'm glad I took her words. It sure was good. Not overly sweet, and not too dry. But if you don't like dry side cake which crumbles easily, I don't recommend it. Some people I shared this cake with didn't like it for making mess as they ate (if you are messy eater, stay away.).
