Kaleidoscopes: Gorgeous coloring books with more than 120 illustrations to complete

A variety of pattern designs, some mandalas, other with repeating geometric motifs. I took off one star because the images used are from stock websites and not original artwork from a specific illustrator. The paper is thick and smooth so water based markers do not be through. Even if i don't see myself coloring all the images, there are enough I like to be worth the purchase.

There are over 120 different designs to color here. Some are sort of intense, and some are very simple. The pages are thick and there is a design on each side of the paper. You can use markers, crayons, or colored pencils or whatever you have. Pages are perforated for easy pull out. I really like these designs and I know that it will take quite a while to color all of these pages but it is relaxing. This is a good coloring book to purchase and provides ample entertainment.

I took off a star because its two-sided, so if you like using markers like I do, the color bleeds through so you need to pick and choose your designs since the one on the backside is ruined.

I didn't like most pictures in this book, there were only a few that really looked 'kaleidoscope', most were more like geometric patterns, and the lines were very heavy, thick, dark lines. There were only a few pages that really fit my idea of a kaleidoscope design - only 5 or 6 pages that I would really want to color.

Lots of great and exciting patterns. I already owned the Mandalas coloring book done by this company (which I think is just slightly stronger), however, this book offers a wider range if scale in the designs from very intricate to larger and less detailed. I've had the mandalas book for two years now, and I'm haven't even colored half of the pages! Great gift (for someone with good eyesight and fine-tipped gel pens.)

This book has a lot of variety. Really fun.

The pictures are really cool BUT I probably would not have purchased it had I known it is 2 sided. If you use markers like I do you have to pick the page you like best because it will seep thru the the back.

Another favorite adult color book. I really appreciate these books offering a variety of designs for our different doodle moods.

Pros:- Great price, much less than similar books are sold for in department stores.- You'll most definitely get hours and hours of use out of these books, along with some nice pictures to hang around your place!- This edition as well as the Mandalas book are very detailed with lots of different designs.Cons:- Some pages are very similar in design, but at this price & with so many pages I really didn't find this to be an issue.

For those who love to color very inticate designs. This bransd by Barron is a great series. As it says " just add color" is exactly all you have to do. Very intricate. Can be used by markers and colored pencils. Big plus is each page is perforated for easy removal from book. All pages have a design on each sheet. They do not bleed through the pages.A+ for all who love sketching or just relaxing and a soulful experience

Not ashamed to say it, I have 6 of the books from this series! Just like the others, this one is amazing. Thick pages that are perforated so they tear out easily. Some may hate the double sided thing but I honestly don't mind. I use pencil crayon and these hold the colour well. The designs are pretty good too. Lots from open to more detailed no matter my mood. Seriously, any book from this series is a win as far as I am concerned.

I just love this line of colouring books. The pages are thick so the markers don't leak through and there are lots of pictures to chose from depending on your mood. Some people have a problem with the pics being on both sides of the paper, but unless you are planning on framing them all, colour from one side does not show on the other. Great value and quality!
