BDF NA05 Window Film Daytime Privacy and Sun Control Natural Black 5 (Very Dark) - 24in X 14ft

This was our second attempt and pleased with the results. The quality of tint matters, which is why our first attempt failed with a auto store brand. This tint was by far better quality. Directions were easy to follow. Spraying the tint generously while pealing it apart is key, and lots on the window as well. This saved us approximately $300 to have it done by a professional.

I watched the manufacturers installation video and followed the instructions. Easy installation. Use lot of spray bottle water so the product will not stick to itself if it happens to fold or roll back on itself during installation. I installed it in our garage windows, which face west in So. California. Garage is cooler in the afternoon and evening. Great product that works as advertised.

I recently purchased this tent film, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! I specifically needed it for rooms where the sun hits directly, and it has made a world of difference.Once I started the installation, I found it incredibly easy to manage. The instructions were clear, and I quickly got the hang of it. Setting it up was a breeze, and now my rooms are much cooler and more comfortable.I highly recommend this tent film to anyone looking to block out harsh sunlight in their space.

I bought this tint for my double pane glass sliding door and it works well with heat control, glare, and privacy. I went with the NA05 (Very Dark) because the sun's intensity where I live in CA is quite strong. I was going to install tint in front of my kitchen sink but I decided not to because I still wanted natural daylight in my kitchen. It would just be too dark in my kitchen already with the sliding door tinted. Installation is quite simple. If you're installing tint in a larger window, you'll need another person to help with holding the tint in place while you align the tint and squeeze the solution out. The air bubbles, if installed correctly will eventually go away when the tint dries and cures from the sun.

This film works great!! We have to abide by HOA guidelines, and a few other products we tried all had a "mirrored' effect from the outside, which was a no go according to the HOA. This film does not have a shine from the outside, and blocks out the direct sun very well from the inside, and still gives plenty of visibility looking out. It has made a huge difference in the temperature of our room.

This film worked as expected and easy to handle. Like the fact it doesn't wrinkle as fast when last minute sliding or squeeing soap off. Feels thick enough .I used it to tint my house window to block the sun from heating up the room and as soon as I installed I felt the difference.

This window tinting is quite nice, it has a nice dark and reflective sheen. Perfect for what I needed. I have done many tinting jobs, this material is not too hard to work with if you have experience. One hint for separating the protective layer of film from the actual tinting layer, is to use 2 pieces of scotch tape, one on either side, and pull the pieces of tape away from each other. Working with 2 people for pre handling and cutting length is recommended.

My bedroom is on the second floor and the large double window faces the rising sun; it gets unbearably hot unless I close the curtains. I used this one way film to tone down the light and heat without having the curtains drawn all day and still being able to see.There’s a little learning curve to working with this film, I did it solo but it would definitely be easier with two people. As long as you cut it slightly larger than each window and keep the window wet with soapy water you can reposition the film easily. The upper part of my windows were challenging with the curve, I just started from the bottom, flat part and worked my way up.I give myself a 90/100 on my first try. I didn’t cut the edges perfectly, there are a couple slight gaps of less than 1mm, but nothing that’s gonna make me buy more to try again. It’s only visible in the contrasting light, and doesn’t actually cast sunlight inside, it just doesn’t look the most professional. My fault completely and the error doesn’t detract from my rating of this product.The two photos with this review were taken at the same time of day, from the inside daylight is easily visible (but no blaring heat). From the outside you can’t see inside at all except for the very faint outline of the ceiling fan light which I left on. You still have to close your curtains at night for total privacy, but that doesn’t matter to me.The film came with a razor and a flat tool to smooth the bubbles, they worked fine. Prying the protective clear film off was by far the most difficult part, you definitely want to use the method mentioned in the directions of putting one piece of tape on each side and pulling in opposite directions. The first time it took me 10 minutes to open the first piece. Once I got the technique down it only took seconds.I’m very pleased with this one way mirror film, I’ll probably buy more to do the large window downstairs on the same side of the house.

Great purchase, easy to apply, tools that's needed were included with the purchase. Awesome tint, looks great,you won't regret!!

The media could not be loaded.  The hardest part was separating the layers, but once I actually followed the directions and fully covered the corners I figured it out. The photos show the difference between applied and regular light, as well as the small area where I messed up my trim lol. A mini squeegee and x-acto knife come with the film which is helpful!

Would definitely buy again love it
