Good Cookbook "A Taste of Haiti"
I am a certified purchaser and I do not know the author.I think the author did a very good job.For those complaining of lack of pictures, BEFORE you had cameras and you wanted grandma's recipe, what did you do? You wrote it down... chef's do that too.Wondering if the negative commenter READ the book? And Disproving Some reviewers claiming of missing ingredients: Ti Malice Sauce (p378 - 385 Kindle): Says makes 2 cups, servings 4 to 6 and pg 385 says ADD 2 CUPS WATER!And ZEPIS Recipe makes 1 quart and is under GROUND SPICES pg 391So, please Choose to be kind vs. mean spirited.

One of My Favorite Cookbooks
This book is a gift to mankind. I tried the spicy honey chicken with mango, but substituted the honey with guava paste instead. It was delicious. I also never knew about the Scotch Bonnet peppers. I ordered the hot sauce and added thatwith the chicken, lets just say that I was not disappointed...and I am very picky.Would definitely recommend.

Great book to own! Recipes are so clear and easy to reproduce by anyone. She is very clear in her instructions. I will try a few very soon as she makes them so interesting!

this is a great cookbook, explains ingredients and techniques but I cannot ...
Again, this is a great cookbook, explains ingredients and techniques but I cannot use it on the kindle, android and do not like my laptop near me when I am cooking.

The recipes are ok
Have to google all the Haitian food and see what to substitute the end of the book adds meat recipes odd for a vegetarian book.

Great book
Great book! The author gave credit to the individuals who provided the recipes and all are very authentic Haitian dishes!

I loved this book till they told me the authors license expired and I lost my money because I had no access to my purchase.

Not worth it for me but a beautiful effort to show their love for Haitian food and culture!
I was disappointed because the book is in black and white, there are no pictures to show you the recipes and not enough details on how to make the different recipes. Ingredients are lacking! Maybe it depends where her family-in-law is from. I don't know! The little stories are interesting. It's a beautiful effort though! I miss my mom and grandmas cooking and recipes.
