Great all-purpose, lightweight organizer! Not just for shoes.
I’ve enclosed two photos. One is of the product “under construction,” so you can see what you’re getting yourself into. This thing comes with 126 separate pieces and if you’re somewhat visuospatially challenged like me, I’d set aside a good 90 minutes to get it fully assembled. (It’s really not complicated and you don’t even need any tools, but you do need to make sure that all the plastic connectors are facing the right way and that all the metal rods are securely inserted.)The other photo is of the fully assembled rack— as you can see, I’m using it for organizing my clean laundry. For scale, I’m 5’5” and the rack is taller than me by 2-3 inches. It’s so tall that if you wanted to, you could break this apart into two 5-tier racks (or any other configuration). The “shelves” are not made of metal or plastic. They are instead made out of a tightly woven synthetic fabric with a papery feel. (If you lived through the ‘80s and remember the “paper jacket” trend, that’s what this reminds me of. Those jackets were stronger than they looked!)In other words, these are not hard, solid shelves. They are flexible and thin, but still easily able to support several pairs of shoes, stuffed toys, or piles of clothing. However I would not recommend storing books or heavy equipment on them.Overall, for $36 I am happy with this purchase and I love how lightweight the rack is! You can very easily carry it from one room to another, which is a nice bonus.

Definitely a good buy!
Luckily I didn't listen to the bad reviews. A few mentioned it was flimsy or came apart. I can tell you this is 100% avoidable with proper assembly. Key tool: rubber mallet!! Make sure to use the mallet to push all pp connectors fully into all metal rods. Very, very sturdy. I installed it in my garage so my kids can leave their shoes before entering the house from school and sports. My husband and son both wear size 11 and you can fit 4 pairs of mens shoes in one tier. My only hesitation was I wasn't sold on fabric tiers but it's actually a light weight yet strong shelving option. Only time will tell how it holds up. Another bad review mentioned it was missing a pp connector and they returned it. When I first assembled all the pp connectors (before stacking them up) I thought the same thing but I did the math wrong and they were actually spares! So don't jump to conclusions until you have it all together. I included a photo of the spares. I also anchored it to the wall to avoid any accidental fall if the kids are rough playing in the garage since it is lightweight so it definitely adds to the sturdiness. I'm a busy 5ft mom and it took me about 25min, so anyone can do it! Not difficult, just tedious. Hope this helps!

It does loose its shape after a while of being used
It's nice and easy to assemble like a puzzle, but unfortunately It came short on a piece so I didn't get the 10 towers I needed up with 9 instead. It looks nice and fits in perfectly with my closet. Unfortunately after a while of being used or depending the weigh of your shoes. It does loose its shape and gets wobbly where you set your shoes. This is good for short term. Long term I would got with an all metal shoe rack.

Shoe Storage Problem Solved !
I needed a place to store about 40 sneakers, sandals, flip flops, flats, and even a few pair of boots ... and this rack did the job! Assembly was pretty easy, if a bit tedious, completed after about an hour of careful work. The result is a lightweight, pretty sturdy, attractive ( I chose black), inexpensive storage rack. The "shelves" are made of a strong fabric, not solid slats, so high heels don't sit well, but all my other shoes and boots set just fine, about 4 pair per shelf.I ended up removing the shelf located just above the bottom shelf, (leaving in place all the metal tubing framework for strength), so I now have a double-height space to fit my boots. (Wouldn't fit knee-highs, though.)

Looks great, holds A LOT
It was easy to put together and customize. It is holding a fair amount of weight, although it is tipping a bit after months of use. I love that it holds so many shoes, boots, and bags. It is slim enough to fit by my back door without the space feeling tight. It is made of plastic and cheaper paper- like material. But it’s held up for months so, so far so good!

Missing piece
The shelves are good, however missing one piece. Count your parts before assembling. I now only have 4 shelves.

not good quality
The fabric is like paper so thin, and pipes are very light douty. Doesn't last long.
