Inoperable tech swamp remote and delayed customer service.
I ordered this knowing it was used for a Halloween decoration, when I received it the remote was not the one from ViewSonic but rather a techswamp one which although lower quality apparently was programmed for the projector and was noted in the description. I attempted to put in two AA batteries but they literally don’t fit in the remote. I went through Amazon and received a prompt reply asking for more information. I replied and after a week contacted them again and finally got a reply. I was told I could return it but when I went on Amazon it told me the item is ineligible for return.

Excellent deal
Just tested and it has a great short throw image; and the interactive pen is included. Looks that is going to be an excellent video projector.
