I want the kind without any additives. Is that the way these are?

I haven't ordered these in quite a while, but when I did they had no additives.

How long can 1 sheet of paper last？If you wash it will the effect cleaning decrease?

I bought one package about a year ago and have only used 5 or 6 sheets, so I don't see why you would want to wash them -- it would probably ruin their cleaning ability. Yamaha saxophones are notorious for the G# and low C# keys sticking - they are closed all the time until opened by the key action. When I finish playing, I swab out the mouthpiece, neck and body, then I lift up the G# and C# keys and place a cleaning paper sheet under the pad and store my saxophone that way. The separation gives the pads a change to dry out; they rarely stick by doing this, and a cleaning sheet lasts for months at a time. I only clean all the pads about once a year; otherwise, just if a particular pad is sticking.

Does this paper work for a flute?

Yes, these papers will work with any woodwind pads.

How many sheets does this pad have?

70 sheets. And, it takes a very long time to use these papers. In my experience, 2 years.

Different than cigarette paper

Be careful...this is a different kind of material than the regular cigarette paper I usually use.It's thicker and more cloth-like. Not necessarily worse, but I didn't like it personally.

Works well.

It's the nature of the saxophone to have the G# and low C# pads stick, since they are always closed (unless you depress the key). When not playing, I keep a cleaning paper under these two pads which allows the pads to dry out.

Okay, expensive

Okay. Had to spend 4 papers for full alto sax. Will last 15-16 uses only.Next time will get Cigarette paper.
