Works great!
I bought this in white to brighten up my dining room table set. I'm no stranger to chalk painting furniture, but this is the first time using Rustoleum. My typical brands have skyrocketed in price, but I have to say, as the cheapest option available at the time of purchase ($.60/oz), I am not disappointed! 2-3 coats was necessary for complete coverage on dark wood using a paint prush, as I anticipated despite "one coat coverage" advertisement (we all know that's never true on dramatic color changes). I lightly sanded the varnish prior to painting as a precaution, but I probably could have skipped that step. The paint adhered nicely and dried with minimal paint strokes. Virtually orderless as far as paint goes, and super easy to work with. The color is exactly what I expected: a lovely fresh clean white, easy to love! Unfortunately, it does not match my "vintage white" furniture in the room as well as I'd like, so I'll be picking up a different brand to do a final coat (though I'm sure house guests would never notice). Then I will apply some wax to protect it. All in all, yes, I fully recommend this paint if you can find it in the color you want! I've included the before and after of my table.

A Nice Subtle Shade Of PINK Chalked Spray Paint!
Firstly, I’ve been experimenting quite a bit with chalk finish paint to refresh some outdoor furniture before hosting a baby shower. I have found Rustoleum’s Chalked line of spray paint to have the best quality, appearance, and overall texture compared to most other paints. The fact that it’s offered in a spray paint form also makes it less messy and fairly more hassle-free than most all of the other options available also.I used the Blush Pink shade to refinish this old little side table I use for plants. The table was originally finished in a dark red cherry wood tone but appears to be made from composite materials as it’s very lightweight and the wood finish could be sanded off easily.I cleaned the table off and then very lightly sanded the shiny sheen off of it where I could, without being too worried about getting it all off and without removing the cherry wood tones. I then sprayed it with three light coats of the paint. If there where any drips or accidentally thick spots of the paint, I hit them with a foam mini paint roller immediately after spraying to incorporate them better. Drying time was very quick- it only took 10-15 mins for each light coat to be dry to the touch, but I still gave each coat about an hour total outside in 77 degree sunshine to dry (probably unnecessary though). I’m ordering the chalked top matte coat to finish off the piece and will probably hit it it with a sealer too before putting it back outside. However, at this point, I’m very happy with the results! I wanted a subtle shade of pink but was mostly shooting for any kind of boho-looking light-colored chalk finish so I was flexible. This paint goes on very stark white-looking, but then seems to settle into a light pink shade after drying out fully. It has great coverage, though I did use one whole can on this one table. Still worth the $10 for the end result. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this product!

Very nice subdued pink paint chalk that is easy to apply
Will choose this brand for future projects! Used Blush Pink. I've only used one other chalk brand (don't remember which) to compare but the Rust-oleum was very easy to work with. It isn't as viscous as others I researched. Easy to apply. Because paint on electronic screen is deceiving, I went to Lowes with a swatch I painted and tried to color match. The closest color I found was Valspar Rosy Glow 1008-8C. My Lowes has a somewhat limited selection so there may be more exact colors for comparison but in medium to dim light, Rosy Glow is highly comparable. In bright light, it's still the closest I found but not as exact. If you zoom in to the desktop you'll see some streaking. That was poor application on my part. I used a different liquid wax which I wouldn't recommend. Don't blame the chalk paint brand for my bad painting skills.I definitely recommend.

Looks just like a raw cast iron.
I was looking for a paint to mimic cast iron. I'd bought a a very old, rusted restroom sink i wanted turn into a planter. What had originally been exposed had a porcelain coating. And after sanding that coating and priming it, I began searching for a paint that most closely resembled the rest. After spraying a layer with a textured paint that resembled rust I used this chalk paint over to create the desired effect. Came out perfectly.

Nice product
This is the perfect off white color. Based on the label I thought it would be too yellow. It is definitely not 1 coat coverage which is why I gave it a 4.

My favorite paint.
My favorite paint, perfect for small tasks and works well for larger [pieces of furniture. the smell is fine and coverage can't be any better. goes on smooth and blends well. No priming or sanding needing. It's durability is great too.

Chalk paint is super easy to work with
I refinished an old 90's oak side table in my living room to give it a new look with this chalk paint. I chose chalk paint because it is notoriously easy to work with, covers well, and is durable. The serene blue color was just beautiful, and a slightly unusual color for a wood piece. Yet it matched my living room decor perfectly. The paint is thick, thicker than latex or other paints you might be more familiar with. However, it goes on well and covers completely in just a coat or two. Best of all, there's no need for sanding first! I admit, it did scuff sand a little bit first, just to assure good adhesion, but this wasn't necessary according to the package directions. Once cured, the paint is very durable with a completely matte finish that easy to sand off if you want a more distressed look to your piece. For extra durability, you might consider covering with a polycrylic or wax. I used less than half of my quart-sized can for this table. Since chalk paint is so easy to work with, I am thinking about what else I can cover with my leftover paint!
