I have absolutely fallen in love with the author and all the characters!! Kayne and Ellie's story has went to all kinds of extremes, way more than I could have ever imagined, but I have loved every second of it! I wasn't sure what this epilogue of their story would entail. I was so sad to see it come to an end but M. Never still managed to surprise me in the best way possible by using this epilogue to not only turn the heat up even more (which I swear I didn't think was even possible!) but also to end their story in a way that brought me happiness and a sort of peace about letting their story end! All markings of a truly astounding, super talented, genius of an author!! Plus, it's definitely helps a lot actually to know that their story wasn't really ending, more like it was just really beginning! Im not gonna say more about the book tho, don't wanna give away any spoilers, but just know this may be a short story wrapping up Kayne and Ellie's journey but I promise u this, it still packs a punch and was intense and hot and so many more adjectives that I will wrap into one description: PERFECTION!!! Absolutely can't wait for more! I'm so glad we will still get to have snippets of these two as well in the following books! As the book opens up, we see that Ellie is still playing the role of Kayne's kitten, even after they have been married for over four years now.I really enjoyed the interaction with Jett's little girl and Kayne. There was just a special bond between them that makes you realize that he would be a wonderful father. But, Ellie has her own reservations that she needs to deal with. I don't want to give spoilers, but you really do need to read this book. Even if you haven't read the other books in the series, you will be able to follow this book without feeling like you are missing something. Kayne and Ellie. No Comparison! *by E***O on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2015* I read the different teasers while anxiously waiting for the book release and I had mixed feelings about Ellie and Jett and the “inevitable”. I felt as if Ellie’s feelings were too deep for Jett and mixing in physical intimacy would push Ellie over the edge. My worries were in vain! M Never did a beautiful job allowing the inevitable to happen and not allowing it to negatively impact Kayne and Ellie’s relationship.Kayne is my damaged man and I love him to pieces. Gosh if anyone deserves everything he receives at the end of this series, its Kayne. I am so happy Jett and Ellie were able to slay Kayne’s biggest demon:his mother’s abandonment. Once Kayne purged himself of that pain, he became the man he was meant to be for his family.This book is definitely the most emotion packed in the series. It is a perfect ending to a perfect series. I am ecstatic every question has been answered about Kayne’s past and his relationship with Ellie. Not many series can boast this feat. Ruined is definitely my favorite as it focuses on the “prize” after the “war”…..Kayne and Ellie completely consumed in their own world!
