(2013 Highlander, push button start) Some reviews said the key didn't lock into place with the transmitter or didn't fit correctly. I had 2 OEM transmitters and these keys fit them perfectly and locked into place. Good experience, exactly what I needed.

As a surfer, I usually lock my keys in a "real estate" lockbox attached to the hold-down ring below the bumper. The fob for my 2009 Camry won't fit.My solution is to put this key in the box, since it will unlock the trunk or door (or glove compartment). The fob is then put in the car in a "Faraday bag", so it won't activate the proximity unlock feature. Cheap alternative would be to take the battery out of the fob, but not ideal. Getting these blade keys cut was a challenge. Local locksmith and Lowe's didn't have a machine. One Toyota dealer also didn't have a machine, referred me to a second local dealer with projected cost of $70 per key. SOLUTION: Batteries Plus store cut these for $10 each. Kevin was my local guy, who used a Dremel to trim off a tiny bit of the plastic to fully seat the blank, but it is not noticeable. Keys work like a charm, bring on the waves!

I bought 2 blank keys after I saw someone say they went to Batties Plus to get their cut. I did the exact same thing & they work.The 2 new cut blank keys also fit my my fob & don't fall out of the fob.Very happy 👌😇

Product was ok, not exactly like OEM. Fitment inside my key fob was poor, had to modify the key so it would fit. But you’re not paying OEM prices so seriously how could one complain.

Much cheaper than getting one from my dealer.

Fits into key fob but wont lock in place. Ends up being useless unfortunately.
