Brand new, vacuum packed, genuine surplus from British Army/ Ministry of Defence, these suits consist of a hooded smock (goes over your head) and a pair of trousers with braces, which are charcoal lined for protection against hazards as well as for warmth. The hood is integral to the smock and there is a large pouch to the front. The suit is fitted with velcro adjusters for a snug fit. They suit comes in two separate vacuum-sealed packs as would have been issued to troops from the 1970's onwards. There are several styles ranging from the MkI to Mk3 with fabric dates from 1971 through to the mid 1980s and sizes from Extra Small through to Large. The sizes are particularly generous and not to be confused with civilian sizes. All suits are Olive Green in colour. These suits are ideal for government agencies, military enthusiasts, re-enactment groups, survivalists or even festival-goers and fishermen. Please note that because these suits are vacuum sealed I will not be able to accept them for return if the seal has been broken as they only have a limited life from that point and they will have no resale value.

witch is great for bending down
Bought 3 sets, as i know these suits well as i already own some, i got genuine 83's.. I bought them for metal detecting, they are very fit for purpose in the outdoors, the trousers are literally a pair of bib and brace's, witch is great for bending down, as they do t fall down.lol. When digging... You pay silly money just for bib n braces, you get them with this set plus a jacket on top! What more do you want???They do repel water, they will last a very long time! They are very practical! They are the real deal!Cheap as chips, great seller to boot... Sent me the years i requested to match my original suit i already owned, very nice guy to deal with:-)*** tip... You should wash these straight out of the vacume bag, after you have 'pulled them apart' to activate the material after 30years of waiting in a time capsule!Also these were made way back when, and you can tell, as they are "very" well made...Worth a punt? .... I think so;-)

feels good quality, fast delivery great price. was a bit nervous about ordering, worried about getting the right size. But in the end opted for the extra small. I am 5ft4in with a 28 leg and a small build, and it is actually still a bit spacious on me(though not too much so, still fits very nicely.) definatley glad I didn't go for the small now lol. The extra small would just about fit someone very slightly taller or heavily built(but only very, very slightly.) great buy.
