I ordered these books as a birthday gift for my nephew's young daughter. She turned 11 years old this year. She loves to read and was very excited to get these books. When I was a young girl, everyone I knew read the Nancy Drew mystery books. They were always very interesting and fun to read.

I liked that it is a collection of 10 books. I loved reading Nancy Drew when I was a teen and thought that this collection would make a good gift for a girl that likes to read. English is her second language, so the stories need to be page turners. I know that they were for me.

Our granddaughter loves these. The collection is neatly packed. Also, there are so many others that can be added to this collection.

Classic! Would have liked updated illustrations of the old pictures instead of black. Passing on these stories I read 50 years ago to my granddaughter.

I bought this 90th Anniversary series as a gift for my 9 year old stepdaughter’s birthday thinking that I was getting the actual 90 year old version of the series. No. We are one chapter into book one and there’s a cruise line, talk of YouTube, texting, emails, cellphones, and many more modern concepts that definitely weren’t in the original books…. I believe, but might be wrong, in the original first book, the mystery happened on a train.So disappointed. I am already a little concerned that the updated version of these books might be a little mature for our 9 year old, considering the presence of certain situations that have already occurred. We’ll trudge on, but I am cautious. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this series, as I believe the packaging was very misleading.

Loved this purchase. My daughter's collection was destroyed so even though she is an adult now getting her the 90th anniversary collection was very special.

The detective stories of Nancy Drew are so excidting!

My 10 year old twin girls discovered this series when a friend of theirs left her book behind when she came to stay (Book 1, The Arctic Star). They absolutely love the series and now have books that they can't put down. They have been adapted to include modern references and this makes them very accessible to the youth of today - after all, they are growing up in a very different world to the one we grew up in! I honestly think that the changes have given the series a new lease of life, so they can continue being enjoyed by children, instead of outdated and sadly forgotten. A great move!

Quality is good

I bought this collection as a gift for my mother who had been talking about reading them as a child. She loved returning to the world of Nancy Drew and found the stories stood up to her own memories of them from years ago.
