This works great so far, havent got to use it on the water yet tho, its winter now so I won't be breaking these out till next year but just from testing them out by hand I know they will work perfect.Worked with regular fender line from Walmart, easy to pull thru and locks so it won't slide back loosing grip on the rope.Looks like you can mount it to many different things, not just railing.Can work with pretty much anything that's attached to your boat and then best part is you can take them off and hook them back up in a matter of seconds.At $18 a piece they are a little spendy in my opinion, would have bought sooner if that price was set for the pair but still happy with the product and the durability of the plastic. Shipped next day and got here early so that's another bonus :D

Works better than expected.
Works better than expected. Using these to hold up 26 inch bumpers on the side of a 100 foot houseboat. Easy to install and the mechanism seems to be holding up. So far two months of use with no problems.

Convenient device
Simplifies putting your bumpers in place with the least amount of rope handling. With different height docks, the bumper position needs to be modified from dock to dock. Once you get the hang of handling this device, it simplifies and speeds up the process. I would definitely recommend this to other boaters.
