Fat Brain Toys Roll & Bounce Tower - Beginner Ball Run for Toddlers & Kids

This toy is great. I got it for my 1.5 year old and all he wanted to do was tear it down. He is now 2 and he LOVES this toy. We put it together in all sorts of ways. He still can be kinda rough with it, but I suspect in a few months he will be more gentle. He can't put it together himself and make it work yet, but he tries. He hands me pieces and we get creative. I wish there were add ons for this. I would love some extra pieces so we could really get crazy.

I purchased this toy without reading the mixed reviews and I'm very glad I did. My 1.5 year old grandson loves all things balls and repetitive action. This toy definitely ticks both of those boxes and has given him hours of fun playtime. It is easy to assemble and re-assemble (on the one or two occasions he has knocked it over). I would love for the bounce part to work every time, but it is a toy. Part of the fun has been the anticipation of the bounce and tweaking the set up!

Overall I really like this toy and so do my kids...My complaints are that it didn't come with instructions on how to assemble so it took a few tries and we used the box picture as our guide. It feels somewhat flimsy (especially part of the bottom pieces that don't "lock in") however, it's pretty durable and fine to use/play with as long as your kids don't play too rough. If used properly, it's a good Montessori style toy.

The was really a disappointment. The directions were awful. The pieces should be color coded, or numbered. The trampoline did not function. Built it on a table,but fell apart trying to move it to the floor. My daughter bought another product from Fat Brain that was adored. I took a chance with this,and feel like I wasted my money. It looks like a cool concept. Actually saw one similar at a store that was sturdier ,and a much better product,of course after this purchase.

My 2yo and I love this system. Among all the presents my kiddo received for Christmas, she plays with this one the most (basically I won the annual holiday spouse gifting competition). I chose this ball run since I'm not ready for marbles. I really like that it came with directions and was somewhat easy to assemble (a small challenge in diagram-to-reality application, nothing serious). I'm 5' 7" and it stands a height just above my knee. It has a relatively small footprint. It isn't stable as a toddler stabilization device. My 2 yo has tried to use it to aid herself in standing with little success. The pieces are easy to put back together and so far, nothing is damaged.

Don't be discouraged by negative reviews. I bought this over a year ago and it works great. My kids still get a kick out of it. And of course the ball trampoline only works if you have it set up right, it's physics. It's just as stable as it should be. It's a plastic modular toy, not a ballet barre. It may be a little frustrating for small children who are new to concepts of the physical world or to adults that are control freaks or want to leave their kids completely unsupervised. Aside from that it's a great toy for young children.

Unfortunately, there is only one configuration. You would think there could be more but, no. Also, the drum the ball is supposed to bounce on doesn’t work as described. I had to pay $8 for shipping to me and $10 to return so I’m out $18 and have no toy. This should have been free shipping for prime. It just wasn’t worth keeping this toy even though I lost so much from the shipping costs. Don’t recommend.

Both my boys (1yr and 4 yr) were excited initially with this toy, but after assembling it it's very unstable. My 1yr old barely grabs it and it will completely fall over. Keeping the towers lined up so that the balls follow the track they are supposed to is hard. Once again any nudging and they get out of alignment. I ended up putting the toy away after a couple hours b/c I was tired of reassembling it every time one of my kids knocked it over. It was a christmas present so I won't be returning it but definitely wouldn't recommend purchasing.
