I have 3 of these steak weights and they have worked well. It's not to heavy that it smashes the juice out the meat. It's not to lite to keep the meat from curling up. Has a wide surface are and the handle does not get to hot to pick it up and move it around. They have not rusted. I hand wash them and dry them off immediately. Very good product.

Nice heavy press for burgers and bacon
I got this for making smash burgers and for keeping bacon from curling and the weight is great. You’ll need a 12 inch skillet or a griddle to use this press without hitting the sides. Of course you have to season and take care of it like my other cast iron cookware to prevent it from rusting. The only thing I’d change about it is to make the corners more round instead of sharp angles.

Exactly what I wanted
Exactly what I wanted, but also order a smaller one because 2 of these won't fit well in a 12" cast iron. This product is nicely made, great quality, and I'm very happy with it. A+.

Nice heavy iron.
This is 8 full inches long, so it is too long for an 8 inch skillet. It fits into my 12 inch cast iron skillet well. It is heavy enough to work well. The handle is screwed on, and is wooden, so I hope it does not get loose. So far I am pleased.

Helps burgers cook evenly and faster.
Makes nice evenly cooked flat burgers! Since it's cast iron you have to oil it back up after you wash it or it will show rust spots.

Great price , nice weight, it gets hit and helps other side cook too when doing burgers.. love these things… but its a game changer cooking cheap thin bacon, keeps splatter down too!
