925 Sterling Silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. Infusing silver with other metals does not lower it’s quality and it is still industry standard. Fine silver (99.9% pure) is too soft and malleable for producing functional jewellery and suffers too much damage, whilst it also quickly tarnishes when exposed to hydrogen sulphide in the air. The added 7.5% alloy gives it strength and makes it more resistant to scratching and damage. 925 Sterling Silver components typically have 925 stamped onto them, size permitting, to show their authenticity.

A little disappointing
Trust me it is as described on the tin that being said I think the quality was poor with very little definition to the feather It would be fine for a small child it's size lending it to little else
