Good audio amplifier for DIY projects
Bought these to use in a project where I'm building an FM radio inside an old drive-in movie speaker case. Since my radio circuit has a stereo output, I summed the left and right positive outputs with 1K resistors and tied them to the input of this mono amplifier. Worked like a charm. Powered with a 9v battery. Like someone else previously mentioned, the 3.5mm audio input jack doesn't really work very well. Had to halfway unplug the connector to get any sound. Ended up bypassing the jack and soldered directly to the back side of the amplifier board. Will definitely buy these again for more radio projects.

LM386 good low power amp.
Its a LM386 circuit. I dont know where they get the 10 watts from. Realistically you can get get close to a half a watt output. But that amount of power will drive headphones or a small speaker.

Not 10 Watts, only rated for 325mW 0.325W
This item is not 10 watts as stated. It is only 325mW output. This is only 3.25% of the output this ad states, and this is only if supplied 12v or more. It uses a LM386N-1 chip. See attached picture of the data sheet.

Perhaps 1 watt instead of 10 watts but is great for my application. (LM386 Audio Amplifier Module)
I have a very old AC Voltmeter that has an audio amplifier module connected to it. It is used for audio signal tracing and trouble shooting. The amplifier module stopped working and I replaced it with one of these. It is running from a 9-volt battery and has a small speaker connected to it. This piece of test equipment is used intermittently and this module is great for that application. Price is great!

TwoGood value for two LM equivalent 386 IC based .5 mw amplifiers
Not 10 Watts but typical LM386 @ .5 W or (500 mw) but still excellent value, well made and easy to mount using nut on volume control. Have a nice LED power light on board and easy connect screw clamp terminals for the power & 8 ohm speaker. A standard mini phone jack for capacitive input circuit. No schematic or directions but the board is well marked and the 386 circuit is pretty standard and available on the Internet including some options for gain and tone control. This is a basic amplifier. Both worked fine for my small projects on 9 Volts and I remoted the input and volume controls in another project. Again, good value-Works!

Nicely packaged with text book schematic configuration.
Good little amplifier package, although I suspect the output wattage is a little inflated. Input Vcc is filtered with a 220 uF capacitor. Output is AC coupled with 220 uF. Gain as fixed at 200. If you want 20, remove chip capacitor between pins 1 and 8. I really like the power on LED indication. All powered circuits should have this feature. Good job!

A no latency solution to air drumming
I had bought virtual drums (AeroBand Pocket Drum), and needed a simple amp with no latency. Latency added by a Bluetooth speaker, even when using the aux port, makes the sticks very difficult to play. This little amplifier board powered by eight AA rechargeable batteries in a holder, and wired to my old RadioShack bookshelf speakerworks great for playing these drums in a room with acoustic musicians.
