You never know with faucets and fixtures. I bought an expensive drain plug the plunger broke with in days. This one seems to be the trick.Our sink isnt designed with an overflow- (yikes.). But this pushes in easily and pops up easy. The only real problem with the design is you have to stick your hand in the water to pop it up. If the water is nasty or scalding hot it nay not be a lot of fun.My inlaws paid hundreds of dollars for a similar style from a local vendor, theirs does not work this well. This has a large enough gap to let olenty of water through. Yet there is a “trap” that is easy to clean just by lifting the plunger out.My wife learned to install the drain, with my shoulder hurt she volunteered. It is easy (once the old one is out). There are rubber seals on the sink side and drain side the eliminate the need for plumbers putty. The length was plenty long for our sink and fit the 1 1/4” trap just fine, no leaks!Definitely a good buy. Been installed for two days. So will find out long term.

I really like this product and would buy it again. The only disappointment was the cheap seal that goes right beneath the sink above the tightener nut. It leaked after install. I went to the hardware store and bought the better aftermarket seal with a taper and the leak stopped immediately. They should update the product and simply provide the better designed sink bottom seal. Slowed me down but did not discourage me. I really like this as compared to two other designs I recently installed in other sinks.

These drain stoppers are WELL built. However, what isn't shown in the listing is that the have about an 1/8" base that sits ABOVE the drain opening so the sink never drains! We have got to look for the proper type so we can use our sinks . . .

Love my pop up drain. I broke the lever of my old drain and tried just a plain old plug for a while. But fear of my wife's ring going down the drain made me look for other solutions, and I found this beaut. a couple of simple plumbing nuts to unscrew and rescrew and it was in. Love it.

I had to try two other brands before finding this one. I love that the stem part on the bottom is removable - I could either cut it to length, or (what I did) was screw on a PCV piece on the end that was super easy to cut to size for my low profile sink. Works perfectly so far and looks great. Happy I found this!

I bought 1 and liked it and bought another 2. Worked perfect to prevent clog by hair. However, installation needs attention if you have ceramic sink. The seal below leaves drops of water down, add silicon around it, it stops.

I used this for a shower drain in my van conversion. I wanted a drain with a longer pipe to get through my floor to grey water tank under the van. Normal shower drains are too short. This worked great.

Works perfectly! Cover lifts up for easy cleaning. Also, it has a strainer basket that catches hair and helps keep clogs from forming!
