Perfect for DIYer
I had ordered a pair of Crescent crimpers....they didn’t work at all.I decided to try my luck with these. Perfect for the occasional gutter work. They make a nice crimp, and are easy to use. They look flimsy, but aren’t so bad. They don’t have a spring return, but the handles aren’t so wide that you can’t operate easily.

These worked great when we were putting up gutters and had to crimp the extension pieces.

It crimps
I install gutters for a company and these crimps work BUT for the use on downspouts they tend to leave quite the bump above the crimp. I’ve tried using it every way possible but it always happens. With the company I work for they want everything to look as seamless as possible. Otherwise they are great. But I should have gone with the the other Malco single crimps. More money, but worth it.

It crimps one at time but it's a heavy crimp.
Use it 5 days a week.

They work as advertised but are too pricey
These work well for downspout crimping (making one end fit into another). I'd prefer the option for them to be a longer crimp (rather than the short 1-1/4") so that very customized crimping and assembling could be possible.The material is strong, not spring loaded, but it is definitely overpriced by about $10.00
