Clarks Women's Ashland Lane Q Slip-On Loafer

I’m giving these one star due to the fact that they are already coming apart. The sole of the shoe is separating already. I’m really bummed because they are comfortable. I spent a lot on these because I need comfortable shoes! I’m on my feet standing at a desk 8 hours a day. I don’t do all that much actual walking in these shoes!

I love these shoes... The color, fit and comfort are all excellent, the leather is good quality and they wear well. Why the 3 stars? I'm 3 months into wearing them and one of the buttons popped off! These are functional buttons so now the shoe is useless until I can manage to find a repalecement that will work, but not likely match. Disappointing for such a spendy pair of shoes.Update: Clarke's customer service responded that they will take no responsibility for the faulty item and suggested I take the shoe to a cobbler for the button repair, which they will not reimburse. I have changed the review to 2 stars, as it doesn't really matter how wonderful the shoes were before the button broke if they are unwearable less than 3 months after purchase.

It was light and comfortable but the quality is bad my daughter wore the shoes for a week and it fall apart

It's a nice shoe, I originally ordered the wide width and it was way too wide! So I ordered the medium width and it's still plenty roomy, slips a little on the heel and causes certain types of socks to slide down in my shoe, a bit annoying. Other than that, it's comfortable, looks nice, didn't take any breaking in, I wear them all day at work everyday. Clark has always been a good shoe for me, this one just seems to run a bit bigger than other styles I've bought from Clarks in the past.

These are well-made Clarks, very comfortable, no break-in period. I purchased them in both "Black" and "Redwood" in size 5B. The Redwood is the medium brown color that I prefer when wearing neutral, earth-tones. The shoe is rather flat, so don't expect it to add any height, but the sole provides a good amount of support throughout, and normal arch support (not noticeable in presence or lacking thereof). I thought the contrast stitching might be a little distracting/too busy, but it actually helps to accentuate the shape, and make the shoe look more slender in the front.

Excellent balance of comfort, stability and good looks. If you need comfy but supportive shoes with a good footbead contour, these have it, without being an "orthopedic shoe". I wear them often and the stitching and and leather have stayed neat and tidy. They wipe easily, though they don't really pick up dirt and dust much. Clarks is my new favorite brand of shoe due to reliable comfort and quality.

This is the second pair of Clark’s I’ve ordered off Amazon and I am very happy with my purchase. Very comfortable. I am on my feet all day at work and my feet don’t hate me at the end of the shift.

I wear 7 to 7.5 in shoes and the only good thing I can say about this shoe is that it is true to size. In closed shoes I wear 7.5 and this fit with no pinching of toes or squeezing of sides, but that's all. I work 10 hour shifts standing the whole time except for half hour lunch. Within 2 hours my feet were aching in this shoe. It has no support whatsoever. I felt like I was standing directly on the outer sole of the shoe. By the end of day I could barely walk, even my knees hurt. This shoe is not comfortable at all.

I have worn Clarks shoes for years and these are really good. The styling on the instep gapes a little but that's the shape of my feet rather than a fault. So comfortable, soft pliable leather, great non slip sole, will buy again.

Great style and very comfortable. Not available in England and only took 5 days to arrive from the USA. I would recommend them!
