HONEYSEW1/4" Ruler Foot Metal Frame Quilting Embroidery Low Shank Sewing Machine Presser Foot for Singer Pfaff Viking Brother

Didn’t fit my machine. A Janome Horizon 8200QCP SPECIAL EDITION. Not worth returning, but I’ve tried 4 different ones & none have worked. Janome does have one specifically for this machine, but it is WAY too expensive for a technique I may not even use often. I guess I’ll just keep practicing my FMQ skills & won’t need to use rulers.

I got this foot, and like a lot of others, thought it wouldn't work. I put it in a drawer, and decided to look for a brother ruler foot (I have a SE625). The brother foot is $40 plus shipping. This one had to come back out of the drawer for further investigation.I put the foot on loosely, then put a 1/4" quilting ruler under the foot and some cardboard o top of that, lowered the presser foot and tightened the screw. Voila! It works beautifully and saved me big $$$

I have a Brother 6200 Dreamwaver sewing machine. It is a high shank. I've been able to use the low shank foot with an adapter, but haven't been able to make the high shank foot work on my machine. There is a ruler kit made for this machine, but it cost about $200. This is a cheap substitute that worked okay for the little ruler work I did; however, if I decide to start doing more ruler work, I will definitely invest in the kit for the Brother sewing machine.

It works great when you are quilting with rulers.

The quality is not what I look for & fits poorly no matter what adjustments were made. I wanted to love it because the price was right. Unfortunately, You get what you pay for. I’ll stick to name brands.

It's fun to use and works well. It took a little practice, but used with the quilting templates, very nice. I wish it would just snap on and off tho. You have to take your regular foot holder off and screw this one on.

This does NOT fit the Singer 7258 model. Even with the foot installed in the highest position, the foot can't be lowered all the way and the fabric will not glide as needed for free motion quilting. Other than that, it looks well made and my needle was centered in the circle. If this fits your machine it will work great for templates and rulers.

I’m new to machine quilting so I don’t have experience with any other ruler feet but this one works really well on my Janome. It’s a bit fussy to put on but it’s adjustable and works so well that I’m using it for free motion work as well. It’s a great buy.

Fits template smooth sewing

I purchased this for my Janome 6500. It fit and works perfectly! I did have to find a screw that has a smaller head to hold it in place, as the one I normally use for my feet would have impeded using a ruler.I like that this for has a small dip on the front and side so it's easier to see what I'm stitching. Not apparent from the picture, but it also has a small slit on the throat side to easily feed the thread through.I tried this with my regular quilting rulers and it worked amazing. No jumping or slipping and it created a beautifully straight stitch.I had questioned spending this much on a foot... Whether it was worth it or not. Now that I have it, it definitely is.

It looks like it metal and for the price one would think so - but what I received was a plastic foot and not a very strong plastic either. I have tried using it and although it seems fine it flexes during sewing and I hesitate to use it for fear it will break - I would not recommend this foot.

Very disappointed. This is made out of very cheap plastic. For the price the quality is crap
