This is so expensive! It took me a while to decide to actually purchase it. I've journaled here and there my whole life. I found it really helps me with my anxiety and panic disorder. Something about getting my thoughts or feelings out of my head and onto paper if there's no one to talk really helps clear my mind. It's difficult sometimes finding a journal that looks like it will hold up or that I find attractive. I can see loving this for life and I just have to change out the basic inserts! You can also use any brand you want as long as it fits which is nice too should they stop being available or you prefer something else.The photos don't do it justice and it just feels great on your hands. As long as it holds up and the color doesn't transfer onto anything I can see this lasting a lifetime as long as it's cared for. I also bought some leather conditioner that I read about other people using to keep it in pristine condition. I haven't had to use it yet since I just bought it but I have it on hand!The quality is top notch, definitely worth the price paid. The only issue I have, which actually isn't with the journal cover, but more with the insert, I didn't realize that the pages are blank, I thought they were lined because in the photo it appears to be so. Now that I have it I see that it is just an insert that came with it that is lined that you can put behind the pages so that when you write your writing is lined up nicely. It's ok but I find that kind of annoying and the pages are so thick it's hard to see the lines so you would have to write in very bright conditions. I'm still debating on even using it or just buying prelined inserts.

I love this journal cover. I've debated getting something like this for years, putting it off due to price. But I'm so happy with it. It will last a long time and I love that you can just put a new standard journal in without having to sew pages or anything. Plus it's beautiful!

This is my fourth journal purchase from Oberon and it is my favorite to date. The color is rich and beautiful as is the design. I purchased my first one over ten years ago and it is still in great condition. If you are looking for a high-quality journal or notebook cover, Oberon is the only way to go!
