I expected white as described. These are more translucent.

Perfect for my project
I needed these to finish a white bookcase with adjustable shelves. I decided the shelves are where I want them and don't plan on adjusting them in the foreseeable future, so I needed to cover up the remaining holes. These plugs are the perfect size and easily applied - the bookshelf looks great! I thought they were a bit overpriced but didn't shop around too much before hand - the convenience made up for it.

Perfect for IKEA Avdala bookcase
I bought these for an IKEA Avdala bookcase (the cheapest 3-shelf case they have right now), and they’re a perfect fit. I measured the peg-hole size in advance, and it was 3/16”; based on other reviews, I was hoping these hole plugs would be a true 3/16” size, and they are. I would call these “true white,” which is slightly different from IKEA’s regular white, but it’s not noticeable from a normal distance. It certainly looks better than the empty holes, anyway!

Exactly what I was looking for
These were ordered to fill holes in cabinets where old hardware used to be. Be careful to order the exact size for the drill bit that was used. These were for 3/16 drill bit and they were a perfect fit and did exactly what I wanted them to do. The old holes are not completely hidden, but they are camouflaged enough to do the trick.

A Defective Product. Buyer Beware.
Be careful 3/16" is NOT the same as 5mm. They will ship you both in the same package and some simply won't work. I bought these for two pieces of furniture measuring the holes carefully with a precision drill bit. On one piece of furniture the widget fit, on the other they didn't fit at all. Do not buy these except in a store with easy return. This is a bad product. For one of my two pieces of furniture, they didn;t work at all. The process of returning the product is too complicated. Always read the one star reviews before buying. I'm using them on the one piece of furniture on which they fit, so I won;t return anything. But I'm really disappointed.
