Q: Where was it manufacterd

Well, I looked everywhere but I couldn't find a tag indicating country of origin but it's a pretty safe bet that it's from China. I can tell you that I use it all day everyday and after months of use I like it more and more. It's really sturdy and well made, super functional and I get compliments on it all the time from men and women.

Q: Would this be good for a camera bag

Yes I think it would depending on the size of your camera , however there is no padding whatsoever to protect the camera.

Yes, just like the other 90% of products here in the U.S
