This is an IPS 1080p flat (not glossy) panel that replaced and upgraded the TN panel my HP 640 G3 originally came with. I picked up the laptop second hand with a broken screen and this replacement screen exceeded my expectations.Zero dead pixels. Colors are clean and natural, not oversaturated. I am not calibrating this monitor and don't feel the need to do so. Great looking for windows and Linux desktop apps and video viewing.My phone camera won't due this screen justice.Easy installation.1) Remove power - disconnect battery2) Remove bezel - it snaps off easily3) remove 4 screws holding old panel in place4) remove ribbon cable at base of old panel5) Install ribbon cable on new panel6) Mount panel in frame - secure with 4 screws7) Peal protective film from panel8) Replace bezel9) connect battery/power10) enjoy your new panelIf I need a panel for another laptop I'll definitely consider this brand/seller.

Unfortunately, I installed this screen as soon as I received it on my lenovo thinkpad t 450 pc, but this faint yellow dot appears at the top, on a white image or background it is quite noticeable on a black background it is imperceptible, the problem is on clear images. I don't know why this happens.Although the camera of my cell phone is not good, you can see the small light yellow circle in the photos of the screen recently installed on my lagtop, as I say in clear images it is quite appreciated.This faint yellow dot has an approximate diameter of 4 to 5 mm.On the other hand, I noticed that the brightness control function in w 10 disappeared, I do not know if it is because of the drivers of this screen or what is happening.

Perfect fit. Took less than 10 minutes to install unlike laptop that require Wi-Fi & keyboard removal to install. That has nothing to do with this screen design, rather laptop core design. Good bright screen & color rendition.

Installed this on my Lenovo T440p to replace the stock TN screen and it works beautifully. Great viewing angle, clear display, and higher resolution. Great value for money.

Got this screen to replace my Thinkpad T440p laptop screen. It works fine and looks good, but it is just the bare screen with no bracket on it. I had to use some double-sided tape to secure the screen in place. Other screens of similar quality/price had the bracket attached to them. Look elsewhere if you're doing a laptop upgrade.
