Nice after mint taste … subtle . Doesn’t expand if that’s what you’re looking for , but does the job .

Excellent product. Love the minimal packaging. The dark color allows you to see how successful you are at flossing! Love that the floss is not made with petroleum products.

I’d researched & looked for quite some time for a floss that could replace the synthetic floss that’s ubiquitous. There’s a # of such alternative flosses out there, but their ratings or something just didn’t satisfy me. I received 2 wound bamboo floss (reminded me of cocoons). Better than I’d expected. The bamboo rarely breaks while using (& it breaks only because I’m being hard on it, reusing the same section of the floss strand more than 1x). It’s strong enough that you can’t break it easily like thread, but have to cut it, for your length of flossing section. It’s thick enough to satisfy my gaps between my teeth (caused by periodontal disease👉receding gums) and does NOT slide off before doing its job, like traditional floss does when I’m using it. I’m also glad they package this in recyclable paperboard. I don’t recall any plastic at all in the packaging, which is one of my bugaboo pet peeves (a BIG ‘➕’ to NOT have plastic, IMO!). I’d give it a 5 if it was ready to use the moment I received it, but I had to find something to cut it (I use nail clippers). Whenever I have the time, I thought I’d wind it around a former floss container (non recyclable plastic, mind you) and reuse that so it has at least a sharp edge to cut it off. Almost seems sacrosanct to put it in a plastic container, tho, with it being made so sustainable!

Okay, so I love this floss. I’d been trying out different brands before finding this, and I see no comparison.I’ve tried flosses that were so coated with wax, it left a residue. Or the floss would shred right between my teeth, but not this one!This one’s actually really strong. It’s not stretchy, and it’s a little thicker than some of the other flosses that I’ve tried, but somehow it manages not to shred. My teeth honestly feel cleaner since I’ve been using it.My first purchase included a mint flavored floss and a little glass bottle to contain it. The flavor was mellow. When I needed more, I bought the banana flavor (because it was only 4.99 for 2 ) and it’s just as awesome. It really has little to no taste, and I’m good with that. I also love that it’s black, because seeing what I’m getting out, gives me the incentive to do It again.What a review for floss, huh? Goodness I really hope all that helped someone. 😂

I looked long and hard for the right floss:- Compostable.- Made sustainably (good for the environment).- Vegan (silk worms are killed to make most silk).- EffectiveThis one checks all the boxes except that, depending on where you live, it is imported, which incurs the cost and impact of transportation. I couldn't find anything that checks more boxes.It's more effective and gentle, in my experience, than other flosses I've tried. Teflon and wax reduce the cleaning effectiveness compared with a natural fibre like this one. I often shred floss, but this one does not shred on me. If I use it multiple times it will snap, but it is good for more than a couple of goes.I've shown it to other people who have adopted it too. My dental hygienist was impressed with it too and has it on display for people who care to choose based on the criteria I mentioned.The packaging is great too. There's a glass vial version and you can get refills without re-buying the glass. The packaging is paper and no plastic. Watch out for storing glass vials on the top shelves of bathroom cabinets where they can easily be accidentally nudged to a fall. This glass vial will break relatively easily.

This is the third time I have received refills of this floss. The two earlier times everything went fine. However, this time the spool of floss will not unravel in the container. I have to keep it attached to the lid, in order to cut it as necessary, but cannot put it in glass container as it will not unspool inside. I have to pull it apart at every usage. I hope this will not be true going forward as I have really enjoyed using this floss. The regular flosses make my gums bleed but this floss is much more comfortable to use.UPDATE: Customer service was very responsive to this review and were able to resolve the issue promptly. I will continue to use this product in the future. Changing rating to 4 stars.

This floss is a real find. It is very sturdy. (Much better than another brand I tried which broke on a regular basis. I have been using Boonboo floss for several months and I have only had one instance where the floss broke.) Also, the dispenser works well and is easy to use/refill. (I have ordered refills twice now.) So happy to be able to move away from using plastic floss and dispensers. This is a great product.

This particular brand and material works quite well on tight teeth. Minimal tearing or shredding. Other similar organic options like corn or silk I've found are either not fine enough or they break multiple times during flossing. If you're looking for an organic solution in a fine floss, this will work. Only knock is that the spool doesn't unravel particularly well near the end of the length. It'll stick or knot together and you can find yourself wasting a bit trying to get in untangled. It could do better with a longer length with a post or something at the core to ensure a tangle free experience.

Very happy with this floss! My teeth are very close together; which makes it difficult to floss. I have no issues with this one and as a bonus, it's biodegradable and it has a nice minty flavor. I definitely recommend it!

Smells and tastes good. I like the minimal packaging of the product (for this company...not Amazon). Would absolutely purchase these again.
