CH4x4 Push Switch for Toyota FJ Cruiser 12V 3Amp - Rear Lights Symbol - Amber LED

I wired my rear LED flood lights direct to the battery so I could switch them on even if the ignition or accessory key was set off. Before wiring up this switch I tested it with my multimeter. Even in the OFF position it still allowed 1.5v of electricity to pass through the circuit; not a very good off switch. I returned the switch thinking I received a defective switch. The replacement switch had the same exact behavior. I even ordered a switch for my front off-road lights and it behaved the same way. It wasn't a big deal for my front offroad lights because those would be on only when the engine is on. So be aware that if the switch is not on switched power it will slowly kill your truck's battery. I figure the switch's internal circuitry for the internal LED backlight is what's causing the power drain. I'd give it 5 stars if it actually opened the circuit like a switch should.

My only complaint with these switches are that sometimes it is hard to tell if the switch is OFF because the backlighting floods into the top portion of the switch that illuminates when the switch is turned on. So the top piece doesn't go completely out. Other than that, these are great switches.

Nice fit and factory look. Second CH4x4 switch I added to my FJ Cruiser. Installed with relays, as per instructions, and works perfectly.

I’ve Botton many of the switches from this company and they’ve always worked flawlessly and function perfectly will buy from again.

Nice switch, but, it is bright, which is fine for day, but, a little irritating at night.

Looks good. I ordered three of these switches, one does not light up like its supposed to.
