I replaced the vtc spool valve to cure an oil leak. After installation, during the road test the check engine light came on. Had code p2646 vtec pressure low. Car did not have a mechanical issue with the old valve, only oil leak. I removed the new valve and stole the o rings from it and used them on the old valve. Reinstalled old valve, cleared code and road. Did not recode. I would not recommend anyone to purchase this valve. Waste of money.

It arrived on time and it looked well packaged
Check engine light was on constantly and it comes back immediately after you clear it.After I install the new part, it fixed the issue, but every few days check engine light comes on with the same old code, and it goes away after I clear out for a few more days.Update, after three weeks it stopped coming on, and I hope it stays off!

Buy the Honda or better gaskets replace both gaskets on this product befor installation
The product looked great. Oil pressure sender which is all I needed was not the denso part number that was shown on advertised picture. I installed part it leaked really bad. Cheap gasket. I bought gaskets earlier for my original part. I ended up using my original part with my new gaskets and oil Sender - switch from the new part I bought from amazon. All works good now. I hope the oil Seder- switch lasts. Disappointed I had to go through so much trouble and do the job twice.
