The nailer comes with oil and lubrication instructions. I assume my compressor is dry as there is no oiling point but after a few weeks extensive use it’s all working perfectly. **Q: It don’t say say anything about oil does it come with oil** A: This is a pneumatic device with an external strike plate. The two sliding parts which move against each other can be lightly oiled as routine maintenance but there is no oil reservoir. A small bottle of light oil comes in the case for the above maintenance. I use my gun for home DIY and expect the oil to last some years. **Q: Is this air operated only? Doesnt use any batteries?** A: The Brad Nailer operates on compressed air generated by the Makita Compressor.
