Mine finally died yesterday after 5 years of service. The hinge where you can tilt the umbrella broke on it's own (I was sleeping at the beach and when I woke up the umbrella was on the sand). It withstood some wind, allthough it is not so sturdy as the heavy wooden ones (which is a GREAT compromise since it is so lightwight to carry), the hight lock works great, it carry bag is great to unpack and pack again. I love the anchor, no need to carry another accessorie (allthough I did in case this did not work, but I did not have the need to use it!). It also has the opening on the top to allow heat and wind to escape. It is really great.
