Cuisinart SS-10 Premium Single-Serve Coffeemaker, Light Grey

I have always owned Cuisinart coffee makers. Yes, I've tried other brands now and then, but always end up going back to Cuisinart. I had their Grind & Brew coffee maker for years and years, and it was a workhorse, grinding perfect fresh beans, etc. I bought the new SS-10 and, if you want a hot cup of coffee, no other one on the market gives you as hot a cup as this Cuisinart. No more trotting back and forth to the microwave. The Cuisinart is a small footprint on your counter top, attractive and most importantly makes an excellent cup of coffee.

The electronics are easy to use. The coffee tastes good and got.I wish there was a handle to lift the water storage.

I managed to get this on clearance as the new version was out.I find it perfect as it holds 72 oz of water. You can adjust the size to brew from like 8oz to 12oz.It shuts off automatically when left on.It does not puncture a kcup and brew it for you. That needs a manual push to the kcup lid to puncture the kcup.There are 6 of us using it.

I liked it but the plastic made it look cheap and it did not have as many features that others had, plus it wasn't as favorable. In other words, they need to improve on their look and features.

Cuisinart must have asked themselves- How can we charge more and give less? This is my 3rd Cuisinart single pod brewer and sadly it will be my last. I loved the first two. They used to be made of more metal. They used to fit a travel mug. They used to feel very sturdy and satisfying when you'd close the lid. They didn't used to leak. The latest model is made of cheap plastic and feels like it. It has leaked almost from day one. Now it's leaking around the pod holder, in spite of regular descaling and cleaning. It leaks so much as to be unsanitary and fly attractant. It's gross. On top of that, I've never been able to fit a travel mug under the brewer head with the drip tray. That's just straight up horrible design. As a result, I've had to remove the tray and put the metal bit on the bottom piece of plastic. I've had to constantly remove the piece for daily, awkward cleaning. After years of singing the praises of this product to others I've been forced to jump ship and go with a competitor. It's a damn shame greed and short-sightedness can ruin a once great thing. You've lost a customer.

We purchased this unit to replace the same unit we purchased 6 years ago. I use this machine every day and have been completely satisfied with its performance. This new unit seems to be as dependable.

The coffee is good and hold a lot of water. The first one we bought a year ago did not work. Cuisinart Was very helpful and replaced it. Less than a year later it is so noisy we hesitate to use it if anyone in the house is sleeping

So far... this is way better than any Keurig I have had as far as performance and taste.Matter o fact i been making pour over coffee for about 5 years cause i was sick of replacing broken keurigs every year or so. Thought I would try another k cup machine after I saw the reviews on this one.So far So good.* I will update this review if I ever have anything negative to report.
