Great for Labor Prep
Given permission from your Doctor - it was recommended to me to take a daily dose of these a week or two leading up into labor. It works miracles. They are easy to take - even in pregnancy. There is no taste and the size of the capsules are petite.

Give it time, they work. Gently too.
Colace was recommended by my surgeon's office for pre-surgery preparation and post-surgery recovery. The gels are small and easy to swallow. I appreciate very much that they are gentle. After surgery, it took several days for my bowels to recover. I hadn't eaten solid food in a couple of days and the anesthesia had my guts in sleep mode. However, I took a Colace as the doctor recommended faithfully. I was concerned I would have stomach cramps or end up with diarrhea. Neither happened. When my body was ready, it passed a bowel movement with minimal effort. I kept taking Colace as recommended by the doctor until my body was ready to work on its own without causing pain to the surgery wounds. I am so thankful for Colace for making this experience go easy. I definitely recommend Colace. It works. It helps to keep stools soft for easy passing without stomach upset. The gels are easy to swallow and flavorless. There are no problems if multiple doses are taken throughout the day. In the end, they do their job without having to suffer pain. I'm grateful.

Does the job and works well in pregnancy!
These have been so amazing during pregnancy! Never struggled with constipation until I became pregnant but I have been so grateful for colace and how gentle it’s been while keeping me regular. It’s a small, easy pill to swallow and the bottle lasts me a while before I need to buy again! That’s with me taking it basically every day. Absolutely does its job without hurting me or my baby and hasn’t caused extreme discomfort or diarrhea at all.

Had no effect
First I took two of these and it did nothing. Then the next day I took 4 and it did nothing. Then the next day I took 6 and it did nothing. Now, I just took 7 and am waiting to see if there is any effect. For what it's worth, I'm 5'6" and I weigh 135 lbs.
