I was very happy with it, but I needed the wands in two other colors that I didn't see available on Amazon. I left my glowing review (haha, see what I did there?) of the seller under his profile, but just want to mention that I really appreciated the level of customer service he provided me with for the products I needed.This is a review of the Amber LED Safety Wand, but also applies to the red, blue, and green-colored ones, so I copied this review and posted it for those listings as well. These wands are light, bright and highly visible at a distance of at least 260 ft., or approximately the length of a football field, which was how we used them. The baton itself is not too heavy and has a convenient wrist strap attached.I ordered several of each color of safety wand that the seller custom-made for me, and I and my boss were very happy with their quality and appearance. We plan to use them again next year, and I have no doubt they will shine just as brightly then as they did for us this year. Took 3 AA batteries. For the price it is a bargain. Light weight construction. I would use it for a few seconds as needed then turn it off until needed again. Probably had about 20 minutes of actual use at the end of the night. The following night, I put new batteries in it and felt the handle getting warm within a couple of minutes. I removed the batteries to make sure I hadn't put them in backwards and they weren't. I put them back in and within 30 minutes, the plastic battery pack inside was melted and it hadn't even been turned on. I returned it for a replacement and the new one has worked flawlessly night after night. It has 3 modes, BLINK, ON, and FLASHLIGHT.
