I own 14 place settings of this Spode Christmas Tree Gold china. Every time I use it, my family comments on how beautiful it is. I love serving special holiday meals on them, creating memorable Christmas traditions with my family, and even added some coordinating Christmas Tree Gold bread and butter plates to the formal place settings for our obligatory bread feast at Christmas. While these are expensive, they are certainly heirloom quality. The tiny detail on the christmas tree pattern is almost whimsical if you look closely, but it's extremely classic and timeless. If you buy this, do invest in some nice china storage cases (padded) to protect your investment for the next generation you hand these down to.Note: since there is gold on the rims of these dishes and cups, you probably don't want to put them through a dishwasher, even on the china setting.

I love these dishes. I understand they are not real high end china, more like earthenware, price is a bit steep for that but they are beautiful. I have a place setting for 8 now. May order a couple extra later to have extra and make it 10 or 12.

I received the item very quickly and it is nice looking. I have no issues with the seller. The item itself doesn’t really sit square on the plate and tends to drip, but that is an issue with spore’s design not the seller.

I bought it as a Christmas present for myself.
