Awesome Mag Pouch Option
Hi, I've been using these mag pouches for a couple month now and I came to love these so I wanted to make a review for you guys. This mag pouch is very versatile, you can fit a lot of different pistol magazines in them, that saves you a lot of money vs going kydex, especially if you have more than 1 pistol. A kydex mag pouch is molded specifically for that pistol's magazine and can only be used for that specific magazine. This TACO can also be used to hold flashlights and multi tools, etc. just like one of the other reviewers posted. The way you attach the mag pouch to your belt is easy, fast and flexible, it can be used for a variety of belt sizes up to 2''. It's also very low profile and sits very close to your belt compared to a belt loop or some type of clip mount.I'm not going to say these TACOs are better than Kydex, but these definitely have it's advantages over kydex, just like kydex has it's advantages over these TACOs. Compared to Kydex, the magazine retention on the TACO will never be as secure as a Kydex mag pouch, even if you tighten the cords as tight as you can, the adjustable retention screw on a good Kydex mag pouch is much more secure. I will say that the TACO has a good, strong retention and definitely does the job, I've never had any problems with mags slipping out unintentionally. I've had these TACOs on while I was running, sprinting, dropping to prone, doing a lot of quick movements and these mags sit securely in my pouch until I need to feed my gun.The way the TACO is attached to your belt isn't the most secured mounting system either, It stays on the belt extremely well, but it does tend to slightly slide to a different position on your belt if you don't have it on tight enough while moving fast and hard. It isn't a big deal, but worth mentioning. I found a good way to attach the belt if your using a smaller width belt like a 1.5'' (which is what I'm using) is to fold the bottom strap over the belt and then secure the top strap over it, I will post some photos to better explain this. Using this method will allow your TACO to attach more securely onto your belt and minimize movement.Overall I would recommend these TACOs and will be purchasing some for my AR-15 mags, They are very versatile and easy to attach to your belt. They might not be the most sturdy mag pouches out there but they definitely do the job extremely well and are a great option if you have more than 1 pistol. 5/5 stars.I'd appreciate it if you guys could let me know if the review helped you out and if you have any questions just post them in the comments and I'll try to answer them as best as I can. Thanks!

Good gear is good gear!
I've got a double and a single for 3 on a duty/training belt. I did that for versatility, although after the fact, a triple may have worked just fine. These are great for mixed use, Dbl stack Glock mags and single stack 1911 mags both in the same day, same training and without having to adjust anything.FYI, I was a little confused by comments in reviews about these vs. MOLLE. These have Velcro to secure around a belt. They work great.Expensive? Maybe, but they're so versatile they're worth it. A great SWAT trainer I've worked (in a civilian setting) with said this of gear, even just for training, and I wholeheartedly agree. "Buy once, cry once".Shed a tear if you need to, but know you're buying great equipment you'll be able to use in several applications!!

Prefer this to molle mount version for EDC bag
Really easy fit for pistol mag with adjustable tightness. I use this inside a Vertx Commuter Sling, which is lined with velcro. I bought two TACO's and didn't realize this one was a belt mount, which actually worked out better because I can just spread the belt loop out and attach it right to the lining of my bag, without the vertx molle adapter. I've had this one sitting next to the original one with the molle, attached via the vertx molle adapter and I must say I prefer this belt mount, because it lays flatter against the surface and has more stability, when pulling and inserting the mags. I'm sending the Molle version back and getting another one of these belt mounted ones.

Great pouch, weak fastener
The pouches themselves are nice. They take a little bit of breaking in and require a little 'digging' with your magazine to get in (even when you loosen them up) but I prefer that to having it be too loose. The biggest let down is the hook and loop fastener on the back. It doesn't have much rigidity so even with a duty belt the pouch can move back and forth a bit. I think a plastic mount would be better (something along the lines of the Raven Concealment adapter.

versatile pouch
The adjustability is the big selling point. It is designed for single or double stack full size pistol mags. I could not get it to tighten down enough for small 380 mags, but I'm sure single stack 9mm would be just fine. there might be very short 9mm mags that could be a problem, but I think the base plate would prevent them from being inserted too far into the pouch. The other end of the size range is what I was interested in. It will expand out far enough to be usable for M1 Carbine 15 round mags. It is not really designed for such a wide mag, but it works quite well.I also tried it with a variety of flashlights. I could get it tight enough for a 3/4" dia AA Mini Maglite, while at the large end of the adjustment range it could accommodate a 1.5" diameter D-cell light.

It's simply perfect
Awesome magazine pouch. I always conceal carry, but have never carried an extra magazine, which everyone needs to do. I hold my Ruger SR9c 17 round magazine in this HSGI pouch and it fits like a glove. It is clearly made to fit any size magazine; single stack, double, even a small .22lr mag. HSGI simply makes top quality products. I wish I had enough money because I'd own everything from them that I currently use with my loadout.

Great product
I've had this product for 2 years now. I carry it everyday for my spare magazine. Being my 1911 or my glock 19 magazine it works great. Never have my mags fallen out or even moved when I'm going about my day, but when I need it. The magazine comes out without a hitch.
