Works great!
This is easy to use and quickly smooths out the nicks & burrs on the hose bibs making it so much easier to hook up the hoses. They don't leak now, either. Heavy duty, good quality - wish we had this years ago.

It works
Using it to clean corrosion and very hard water deposits on hose faucets at camp grounds. Many times they are no longer usable and you can't put a hose them until the threads are cleaned up. This cutting die solves that problem

Don't cut yourself
The edges of the cut through the side of the die are very sharp. Die is well made. I cut some brass pipe and it works great.

Perfect Tool For Hose Threads
Worked perfectly to repair my outdoor spigot. Also used it to clean up the treads on the end of my hose.Very happy with it!

Worked fine.
I made some custom NGH nipples for drip irrigation pressure regulators. Used this for the first one, no trouble. Then just threaded the rest on my metal lathe for a tighter fit. I suppose I could have adjusted the die, but I have a nice tool maker's lathe so why bother.

Probably bought it for a one time use but it worked great on threading the basement faucet.
