I purchased a pair of ‘Amazon’ ‘Basics’ ‘Dumbbells’, each ‘Dumbbell’ weighing 1.5 kg approximately. The ‘Dumbbells’ I received were in ‘Pink’ colour.The ‘Dumbbells’ are ‘Neoprene’ material-based.The material allows for comfort in terms of grip, and is not ‘erosive’ to skin. Having personally faced a severe problem of developing calluses on hands in the past, irrespective of the ‘technique’ adopted when exercising, the ‘Neoprene’ material has been, no less, than a ‘blessing’ for me. I can focus on the exercise without worrying about suffering any kind of injury to my hands. That said, good-quality ‘Exercise Gloves’ are a ‘must’ when lifting weights.While exercising in a ‘Gym’ setup has its own advantage(s), the ‘Dumbbells’ have been helpful in terms of developing a sense of responsibility and discipline with respect to exercise. One does not feel like skipping exercise, unless it is a ‘Rest Day’, as the ‘Dumbbells’ are readily accessible and make ‘Home Workouts’ possible.Adopting the right mindset and technique is critical to achieving success.
