**Q: How well does it wright on paper? I'm looking to buy it for calligraphy.**
A: It's a really nice carpenter pencil, but I do not think it is precise enough for calligraphy.

**Q: Will this accept regular small utility blades?**
A: This is a pencil/marking tool, and not made for cutting blades. You might be able to modify it to work, but it would be only on an individual basis.

**Q: Does this come with any refills?**
A: NO refills were included with my 
sharpdraw.

When used in the woodshop, this pencil did; of course, make lines. However, the lead broke quite easily and did not last as long as advertised. In short, it was a waste of money and I now use a regular pencil. Why waste the money?
