I purchased these scissors less than a year ago and these are the BEST I've ever owned. They are sturdy, sharp, and easy to clean. I decided to give these scissors a chance because I own other DiORO kitchen products and have been very satisfied. Recently, I noticed some rust develop on the scissors which was really disappointing. I reached out to DiOro about this and they informed me that they offer a lifetime warranty on this product. They asked me to submit a warranty request and that they would send me a new pair of scissors right away. THIS is the kind of company I want to give my business to!

I've been on the hunt for killer kitchen scissors for about a year now. These are it. Just wow, they are so well built. They feel great in the hand. Full tang -- never even seen that in kitchen scissors before. Easy to pull apart to clean, but won't come apart while in use. Easy to clean.

I bought these scissors to replace a broken pair from a different manufacturer. I think these are well-designed. It comes apart easily to clean. It can handle multiple jobs: cutting, cracking nuts, opening bottles, or even as a screwdriver. The screw in the middle can be adjusted to change the tension to your preference.— MATERIAL—The scissors themselves are well-constructed with a weight to it when you're holding them. What I was not impressed by is the stainless steel quality. This rusted within the first week of normal handwashing! I had it replaced, but now I make sure to wipe it down as soon as I wash it to prevent any rust. Whether they fixed this in future models I don't know, but I won't take my chances and will just wipe it down in the meantime. You would think a company would choose decent stainless steel that can be washed without rusting.— CONCLUSION —If you keep in mind that the scissors could rust if not wiped down right away, these scissors are more than capable of doing multiple jobs.*** UPDATE ***I was able to get replacement scissors from the manufacturer. It was an easy process with their customer service. The new pair of scissors have not rusted like the previous one, but I do wipe it down immediately just in case. I have updated this review to reflect the quality of the product and the service I got.

Excellent pair of kitchen shears. The best I think I’ve ever owned. Substantial in weight, Easy to clean, sharp.

I didn't like the metal frame being exposed around the handles, though it didn't cause a problem and the short screw driver projection did work to pry open some reluctant packages.I very much liked the way the micro edge blades don't slip while cutting throught tough veggie or flower stalks, plastic and thin metals like HD aluminum foil.

These scissors are great quality. BUT be aware the bone notch shortens the cutting length of the scissors. So instead of opening the scissors all the way and then cutting, you need to only open it about half way and then cut.I'm not used to have the bone notch and wish I had gotten the offset version of these scissors which would give me a longer cutting length.See pictures for what I mean. Notice where the bone notch starts and how far closed the scissors are when you start to cut. If you open the scissors all the way you're into the bone notch (second picture)...meaning you wont be able to cut paper, plastic, etc.But the quality, fit and finish can't be beat. Excellent scissors if you know what you're getting.

They appear well made and durable. The notch in one of blades takes a bit of getting used to though. They easily come apart for cleaning, but remember not to open too wide as they separate - again a bit of a learning curve.

They won't cut anything and I am still waiting for my refund
