This product is SO easy to use! I love the applicator brush right on the bottle. Set 10 minutes, & rinse! But don’t use it the same day if you relax your hair; it will burn. Use it at least 4 days in advance.

This was my first time trying to do root at home because I just turned 40 and only have a small amount of gray hair in the front. The product worked fine, but the amount in the box was way too much for me. I had to use the whole box, and it felt very wasteful.I think this is better for people with a lot of gray hair. For someone with only a little gray hair, it’s not very cost effective. I wish they offered a smaller size or divided one box into two smaller applications.

The salon I usually go to closed, so I needed to find another way to cover my grey roots every 3 weeks. So after reading the reviews I gave the color “soft black” a try and I was impressed. The “soft black” color was perfect to cover my grey roots as I have dark brown hair. I’ve used “dark brown” dye before with other brands and it made my roots look ginger, so I went with “soft black.” So now I have a “go to” color in “soft black” with this brand and will order this from now on as it did 100% cover my grey roots.

With the price of living at the moment, get this.

Covers well just beware that you spray directly where you need coloring and wear a protective covering if you tend to be messy.
