Is it bleed proof? I'm gonna use it for calligraphy and with either higgins eternal ink or sumi ink.

This is one of my favorite papers to use for pointed pen calligraphy. Sumi ink is my go-to black, other colors& brands like Walnut, Iron gal, many inks work lovely with this paper. Plus you can see your guide sheet underneath if you are using it for practice. The paper is very thin, but there is no bleed through. This paper is a gem. I am wondering if Tomoe River is like this...I keep hearing about it, but haven' tried it.

Amazon is mixing information on 2 sizes of paper. I have purchased the 9X12 Canson Marker, 18 lb,70g ,100 sheets. The paper is semitransparent, NOT semitranslucent. I am a calligrapher and I really like the weight of the paper, but do find that the side facing you when opening the Pad is the side that does not bleed....the back side does bleed a little. But then then it does depend on the ink used.

Love this paper for calligraphy practice!

The Canson XL Marker pad was recommended to me by a professional calligrapher and after buying a pad I am so satisfied with it’s performance that I have since bought 2 more pads. It comes in 9”X 12” pads of 100 sheets. It’s translucent enough to see guidelines placed underneath the sheets and it takes very wet ink without feathering or bleeding through to the next sheet. Pilot parallel pens and dip pens work very well on this paper and it’s economical. You do have to remember that ink takes a little while to dry because the paper is not absorbent so don’t swipe your hand across or you’ll smear it. As practice paper for calligraphy I am really pleased with it.

Buena calidad pero páginas delgadas

La calidad se siente buena, las páginas son muy lisas, perfectas para marcador de alcohol. Solo tengan precaución de cubrir la siguiente página porque traspasa la tinta a la siguiente. Yo la use con los ohuhu y funcionó muy bien.
