Review: Great quality - Great product Swift delivery thank you Review: Exactly what I expected, and then some! - Really good marker paper. It's thin like I expected, but it holds up amazingly! You can only each page once since it shows through the back, but it doesn't bleed through to the next page. The paper is really smooth and nice to work with, and it makes colors look really crisp, and blending feels really nice. I tested multiple markers, and even markers I know bleed often, didn't bleed far at all. Amazing paper! Definately will purchase again when I'm through this book! ## Features - Feature a semi translucent, white paper - Suitable for drawing or design from rough sketch to finished form - Works beautifully with pen, pencil, and alcohol or solvent markers (which will not bleed through! ) - These 9 x 12 inch pads contain 100 sheets - Fold over bound, acid free, and 18 pound/70 gram - Works beautifully with pen, pencil, and alcohol and solvent markers which won't bleed through - These 9"X12" pads contain 100 sheets - Fold over bound, acid free, and 18lb / 70g ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00BN9PFRK | | Best Sellers Rank | #420,251 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #790 in Loose Drawing Paper #41,160 in Arts & Crafts | | Brand | Canson | | Brand Name | Canson | | Colour | multicolour | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 3,054 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00190259491008, 03148950040831, 03148950073624 | | Item Dimensions L x W | 30.5L x 22.9W Centimeters | | Item Highlight | Foldover Pad, 100 Sheets (18lb/70g) Artist Paper for Adults and Students | | Item Type | Canson XL Series Marker Paper Pad, Semi Translucent for Pen, Pencil or Marker, Fold Over, 18 Pound, 9 x 12 Inch, White, 100 Sheets | | Item Weight | 1.3 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Canson | | Manufacturer Part Number | C400023336 | | Material | Paper | | Material Type | Paper | | Model number | 400023336 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Paper Dimensions | 9 x 12 inches | | Paper Finish | Translucent | | Paper Weight | 70 | | Product Dimensions | 30.5L x 22.9W Centimeters | | Recommended Uses For Product | Drawing | | Sheet Count | 100 | | UPC | 190259491008 499994508287 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Canson - **Colour:** multicolour - **Material:** Paper - **Paper Finish:** Translucent - **Sheet Size:** 9 X 12 Inches ## Images ![XL Series Marker Pad, 9"X12" Fold Over - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81vQsbFrbFL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is it bleed proof? I'm gonna use it for calligraphy and with either higgins eternal ink or sumi ink.** A: This is one of my favorite papers to use for pointed pen calligraphy. Sumi ink is my go-to black, other colors& brands like Walnut, Iron gal, many inks work lovely with this paper. Plus you can see your guide sheet underneath if you are using it for practice. The paper is very thin, but there is no bleed through. This paper is a gem. I am wondering if Tomoe River is like this...I keep hearing about it, but haven' tried it. **Q: Is this paper good for Ink?** A: Is this paper good for alcohol marker **Q: It says the size is 9x12 but the image it's advertizing says 11x14 , witch is it?** A: Amazon is mixing information on 2 sizes of paper. I have purchased the 9X12 Canson Marker, 18 lb,70g ,100 sheets. The paper is semitransparent, NOT semitranslucent. I am a calligrapher and I really like the weight of the paper, but do find that the side facing you when opening the Pad is the side that does not bleed....the back side does bleed a little. But then then it does depend on the ink used. **Q: Does this paper work well with a light box?** A: Yes it does! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality *by G***E on 31 January 2025* Great product Swift delivery thank you ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I expected, and then some! *by A***W on 30 August 2020* Really good marker paper.
