If this vendor sold this as individual bottles or sets of 2, I'd buy it from here exclusively, but I have no need to buy 6 bottles at a time. That aside, this herbicide itself works amazingly well. 4 steps to a great lawn: 1) The best defense from getting most weeds in a lawn is to have a thick and healthy lawn. If you have a lawn of grass that spreads via stolons and/or rhizomes, it will spread and take over bare spots as weeds die and leave exposed soil, so you do not have to worry with overseeding. Kentucky Bluegrass and Zoysia are the favored cool and warm season grasses respectively. 2) I am a lawn care nerd and I apply a pre-emergent herbicide (pre- meaning it kills 99% of the annual weeds as they germinate, so you never see them appear in the lawn) such as Prodiamine or Dithiopyr or others every late summer/early fall and late winter/early spring. 3) This Spectracide is my go-to herbicide for any weeds that make it past the pre-emergent. - The trick to applying ANY post-emergent herbicide is applying when the weeds are young/immature and actively growing. Well established weeds/mature weeds are very tough to kill for ANY herbicide. - My main weeds I kill in the spring are nutsedge (a tough weed to manage once established), crabgrass (a very tough weed to manage once past the 4 tiller stage - AKA a mature weed), wild onions, chickweed and almost any weed I can possibly get in my lawn. I typically spray this on my entire lawn versus spot treating. No matter how OCD I am during spot treating, I come back and find all the treated weeds dead, but find others that I did not originally see and have to come back and spray again, and after those die I still find other spots I missed, so I now just apply to the entire lawn and it takes care of 99%of the weeds. 4) The small amount of weeds that get past the pre-emergent and this Spectracide post-emergent herbicides are few, so I have an envelope moistener with a sponge applicator that I add glyphosate total vegetation killer to and I just sponge this directly and only on the weeds I need to kill. - Follow this process and within 12-18 months you should have a lawn worthy of envy. While learning the process I did not do everything at the right times and I still had an amazing Zoysia lawn that was very dense in about 12 months after following this routine. Every neighbor has complimented my lawn multiple times, including the lawn care nerd living next door that works for the local parks & rec and manages turf grass professionally.

With the economy the way it is I am a very conscientious shopper. WHY DO PEOPLE PAY SO MUCH FOR FERTILIZE AND OTHER PRODUCTS THROUGH AMAZON. (Not AMAZON'S fault. It is the gouging sellers). I just bought 24 bottles at Lowe's for $8.48 plus tax per bottle. For nutsedge is is a miracle but my need a second application. It do anything to the crabgrass and killed certain weeds. It is the cheapest and most effective nutsedge killer on the market at an extremely reasonable price. Thank you Spectracide. I had earlier purchased Ortho nutsedge killed compatible with fescue. The only thing the ortho dod was kill my beautiful turf type tall fescue grass and make the nutsedge grown bigger.

Tthis product works on some weeds, but is not effective on crabgrass. Three applications and the crabgrass is still there!

Applied this chemical during high 80's and mid 90's weather, no rain for a week. Well the bluegrass was a bit stressed and I lost a little. Perhaps I should have watered grass after three days. Does not kill clover, mine is still healthy :( But it does kill crabgrass and dandy lions! Recommend using with care.
