Oh So Beautiful
This thing far exceeded my expectations, for sure. I was hesitant to get this monitor and had originally decided on the ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q. It was hard to find many reviews on this monitor and I was afraid to gamble, figured the safe bet would be one of the more popular choices in this category. I can say that I'm very happy with my purchase and don't regret it one bit. One of the biggest deciding factors was the HDR on this monitor. I've never seen true HDR 10, so my expectations were low, but so far I'm impressed and it has made my games look amazing.I'm also impressed with the performance of my GTX 1080 using Raptor 27. I thought for sure that it would struggle, considering I'm jumping to 1440p and running HDR. I average around 80-100 fps in most games, so not quite my desired 144hz, but with GSYNC enabled, it runs butter smooth and will work just fine until Nvidia drops their next series. I've been running an ASUS VG248Q TN panel for several years and was afraid there would be a noticeable delay with the Raptor. I've tested a plethora of games on this monitor, many different types of games, and can say for certain that there is no noticeable input lag for me.The build quality is phenomenal and more than explains the price difference compared to competing brands, which was something that was hard to swallow when purchasing. My doubts were washed away as soon as I pulled it out of the box and I fully understand the price difference now. I've never seen a monitor with this type of build quality and it reminds me of an Apple product more than anything else. Most monitors have a cheap plastic appearance and just feel like they would break so easily. They usually have some type of wobble or play and generally there's nothing too exciting about the build quality. This is just one of many ways the Raptor shines.I have no dead pixels or any type of defects. As far as ghosting and overshoot, I notice none and I really couldn't ask for it to run any smoother. I've been gaming on PC for well over over 25 years; I'm very picky when it comes to performance/immersion and this monitor just adds to the experience tenfold. Playing a game like Sea of Thieves maxed out with HDR enabled is a sight to see and has brought new life to even older games.I've spent over 5k on my complete setup and this monitor is by far my favorite thing I own now. I plan on using this monitor for years to come and I'm going to love every minute while looking at this beauty. If you're hesitant to buy this and think it's a laugh, then the joke's on you...this monitor is amazing and you will not regret your purchase.

Great Monitor, the price may seem a bit high but its worth it
Let me open with I am not razer shill, I originally looked at the monitor because I had a razer laptop. I provide technology solutions/services and due to current living situation needed a hybrid lifestyle workstation. This monitor allowing 1 cable for everything was the original interest. I have my headset and Keyboard and mouse plugged into this display and a single Type-c cable running to the laptop for easy plug and play. The color is excellent, the response is good, the use hub work well and i haven't noticed any added latency in input. The screen size @ 1440p is perfect.I use the PIP when i am doing web conferences/presentations where ill be demoing software on another input displayed in the PIP over teams or zoom while my main screen allow we to view my notes and ect and swap the pip with the make screen quickly when i want it the other way. This is a great productivity and play display, gaming is good, the refresh rate makes everything crisp and it just feel smooth.Yes the price is higher then similar monitors and some that are a bit bigger. But the included cables add value (1hdmi, 1 type-c, 1 display, 1 usb) and the usb hub built into the monitor are a huge boost and when you look at buying it all with the alternatives it ends up being more. All in all very happy and would buy again

Crisp, Bright, HDR is Great - Build quality couldn't be better.
While this product is a little more expensive than most in the same resolution range, the 1ms update rate of this monitor and its insanely bright and deep HDR functionality make it the best monitor I've ever owned. Its casing is extremely well made, the monitor is very heavy (in a good, quality build kind of way), and the range of adjustment for angle and height is about as perfect as I could expect from anything. No more having to tweak the vertical or horizontal position of the screen because the limit on its motion is denied at some level of adjustment. This monitor adjusts to almost anything and it stays there. The monitor is very bright and super crisp. I was mostly dazzled by the clarity, brightness, and especially the HDR functionality after I got it configured. The software to control the lighting scheme is pretty good and it integrates with all my other Razer products without too much fuss (a headphone stand, keyboard, etc.) The lights add a nice "Razer" touch, but the monitor itself is so well built that even without the lights and whatnot, its still a great monitor.
