Nice cosmetic design but hopeless and defective in performance!The
The speaker mic's plug that has one 2.5mm and 3.5mm jacks has a terrible manufacturing defect. When connected to my UV5R handy, the external speaker mic misses connectivity to the speaker as the plug and jacks are not aligned.Coming to the audio quality when transmitted through the external speaker mic, it sounds absolutely muddy when received in my other HT or Hams who had monitored my signals through the repeater.Had requested for a replacement of the external speaker mic and Amazon promptly facilated to get another set through the seller.However, even the second one had the same problemFew days later had ordered again but even the product supplied was defective. Requested for a replacement but the seller supplied the same bad one which had been earlier rejected. Disheartened and so requested for a refund and Amazon was prompt to oblige.I am sure the seller is aware about the substandard products he has been indulging and therefore, Amazon needs to look into the matter.Thanx

For the price you should not be complaining... it does the job perfectly just little flimsy but as I said for the price it's perfect

Defective
Firstly its not what they showed in the image. Its a baofeng external speaker nd input. Secondly its not working properly. When I speak through it lot of interference happens nd other walkies get disturbed. Nd when they speak on the channel this device speaker doesnt work 95% of the time. No sound comes .. sometimes it does but mostly it doesnt. Packing was also bad.
