Uncensored Coffee, Original Extra Strong, 1 Pound

I've bought this in new orleans before, i just bought some for my dad's birthday, and i purchased some and a steel reusable k-cup for myself. It is a very dark blend and i drink my coffee black... I do not recommend this for anyone who doesn't like dark coffee, you will hate the taste. don't let the negative reviews steer you away. I don't drink any restaurant coffee unless it is dark roast from Waffle House, Dunkin, Starbucks, or from anyplace that has a dark roast. At home I swear up and down by Green Mountain's 'Dark Magic' blend, and this tastes as good or better. It is more than just a novelty coffee, that's for sure!

If you want a cup of coffee that will get you up and moving, this is it! Great flavor too

This coffee is excellent, but way to strong caffeine wise to make a straight pot of it. I add 1 1/2 scoops to my regular (Folgers Black Silk) coffee and I'm set all day. Does what the label on the front says and puts lead in your pencil and some pep in your step. Would recommend if you have an extremely fast paced lifestyle or job. Not for the faint of heart, or caffeine sensitive people.

Does it have more caffeine? Maybe... I don't really know. Possibly. However, I hate the flavor. Hate it. The flavor has no overtones. A good coffee should have a complex amalgam of flavors and aromas, like sweetness, bitterness, fruitiness, and chocolatey, nutty, floral, earthy. Different ratios of the different coffee attributes give differences in the various brands, beans, and roasts. I find this coffee to be very flat. The taste is bitter and not very interesting. It's a boring coffee and I don't look forward to it in the mornings. Honestly? Even if this coffee DOES have a lot of caffeine? I'd much rather have a two cups of a different coffee than one cup of this coffee. I'd rather have no coffee than this coffee, and that says a lot. That said, I love its name and the artwork on the bag.

Good strong taste, but can leave a bitter after taste.

The name of the coffee alone makes it hysterical! Everyone loves it for the shock value and the fun. They also said it tastes great but I haven’t tasted it since I’ve been giving them for a gifts. I found this product on vacation, wished I had bought more and then was very surprised to find it on Amazon when I came home. Gave me the opportunity to buy another one. Love it!

I've been buying this coffee for several years to gift to my son and his wife as they love it. This last order was very disappointing as both bags had been previously opened and smelled bad. As I just handed over the bags to my son without checking them over, and when he went to use one he made the discovery of them being previously opened. It is not a product that could be returned so it was a complete waste of my money.
