Terrific book!
I love this cookbook. The only problem I have is that I bought the hardcover and it’s very heavy.

Good recipes
I like the companion show and bought this and the Cooks Country cookbooks for myself and my daughter. I like the equipment guide, and the how and why recipes work. I have gotten many good tips to use on my own recipes. I use the book frequently.

Good Cookbook But...
***11/9/2020 Update*** I just discovered the hosts for America's Test Kitchen are the same hosts as Cook's Country so when I bought this cookbook, I assumed the recipes I listed below would be in this cookbook. I was wrong. Cook's Country and America's Test Kitchen are two different shows; Cook's Country has its very own cookbook with recipes from all 13 seasons. I returned the America's Test Kitchen Cookbook and purchased the Cook's Country Complete Cookbook. The Cook's Country Cookbook has all the recipes I was looking for from their TV shows - I am a happy woman now! Now that I know that my initial review of this cookbook was incorrect and unjust, I feel it necessary to set the record straight and give an unbiased review of this cookbook. The Complete America's Test Kitchen TV Show Cookbook 2001-2021 is a very thick and heavy cookbook packed full of lots of yummy-looking recipes and useful product reviews. This cookbook would make a nice addition to any cook's library.I recently discovered this show on-demand and bought this cookbook specifically for their Proscuitto Bread, Drop Meatballs and Sauce, and Hawaiian Fried Chicken recipes. I bought this cookbook because it claims to have every recipe from all 13 seasons and I really wanted these three recipes (you cannot get them from their website unless you pay for a subscription). I was so excited when I received this cookbook, but my excitement turned to disappointment when I discovered these three recipes are not included in this cookbook. WHAT? This is false advertising at its best. Although it appears to be a good cookbook, I am returning it based on false advertisement and the fact the recipes are not included in this book. Beware if you are buying this cookbook specifically for random recipes from their shows, it may not be in this book.

Wonderful Resource but So Heavy!
I just received the book yesterday so haven’t tried any recipes yet. But I watch the show regularly so I know they are good quality recipes. I was wondering if they actually had the recipes from the current/ongoing season and they do! It is an incredible resource with recipes that are explained clearly and have photos of processes as well as completed dishes. Also, the extensive product test results at the back gives best brands and approximate costs (I went through & checked all the items I plan to buy eventually!). I think, looking through the content of this book, that it could be one of my top 5 cookbooks (& I have at least 50). But, I wish they had made it as a 2-3 volume set. The book is so large and heavy (1150 good-sized pages & weighs 7.4 pounds, I weighed it on my kitchen scale!) that it is going to be cumbersome to use. I wonder if I will just go back to my other books & this will be more of a massive “coffee table book”? It’s too bad they didn’t offer it in volumes, as an option, even if it was a bit pricier.

Finally, easy recipes that work!
Have you ever tried a new recipe, bought the ingredients, prepared it word for word, and it tastes mediocre at best. Then your left feeling betrayed and annoyed that you spent all that money on ingredients and really just wasted your time. I am new to America's Test Kitchen. I discovered it by accident while hanging out at home with little to do during Covid and searching for something new and interesting to watch on TV. I started with the cookbooks and the series DVD's from the library. America's Test Kitchen takes complex recipes and dials them back to easier, weeknight recipes with fewer dishes and simpler ingredients. I am cooking DELICIOUS FOOD! My favorites are the bacon wrapped meatloaf, shrimp scampi (which is way easier than I realized), roasted whole butterflied chicken. Check out the videos on your cable service on-demand or try the public library. You will be truly be amazed. You can get the entire series, 21 years worth of recipes in one >< $30.00 cookbook. It's a true kitchen game changer. It's a great compliment to hear your kid's friends say "Hey, what's your mom making for dinner tonight! "

If you like the show.....
I don't buy cookbooks. Er, well I guess now that's a lie. We like ATK and it's "little sister" Cook's Country. Whenever there's 'nothing on', those are the shows we turn to.I was abusing my Amazon privileges and couldn't resist. The book is everything I expected it to be (and a whole lotta of fat book, at that. It qualifies as a weapon if you wanna chuck it somebody)The only section I am disappointed with after my initial perusing is the breakfast section.I don't need 15 scrambled egg recipes, nor a dozen variations of the same initial pancake recipe. I was hoping for more "feed a crowd" breakfast/brunch fare.As my husband and I sat discussing our favorites from the show and went looking for the recipes, we quickly realized several of them were actually Cook's Country recipes, and sadly not in the book.I'm feeling wreckless enough to have hurriedly thrown the Cook's Country book in my cart and quickly checked out before my budget conscious brain stopped me.Sorry Amazon driver, see ya' tomorrow. :)

Great recipes; great food; great book
This "America's Test Kitchen" and it's partner "Cook's Country" are the best cook books I've ever had...hands down. Both of these books are re-released each year to include every recipe from every season of the TV program. I have purchased both books three times....about 5 years apart....in order to stay current and have all the newest recipes. I've then given the older to additions to family and friends who also love the books. If you follow the recipes, you will have great food and you will learn why the recipes work so well. You not only have great recipes, you are taught how to be a better cook. In addition, these books provide product and food recommendations based upon extensive testing performed by the chefs. I have found their recommendations to be very good. If you have these two cook books, you will need little else.

A heavy weight in quality but also in actual terms to carry.k
Book is awesome with lots of recipes, hints and pictures but is way too heavy. The favorite recipe demonstrated on their TV show was not in this latest edition (2020-2021) cookbook so this was surprising and a disappointment to me. Also please use different binding to keep the pages easier to stay open. Again beautiful book but could be more user friendly.

Love this cookbook
If there was one cookbook to have in your kitchen this would be the one above all others. I highly recommend this book and use it almost daily for my favourite recipes.

If you want the book to arrive in new condition, don't expect that from Amazon.
The book itself is great. What wasn't great was that it arrived beat up and bent up. It's a big heavy book and there was no packaging in the box to stop it from getting bashed around in transit. It arrived with bent corners on the book itself and the dust jacket looks like it came from a second hand store. Super disappointing. Definitely not 'gift worthy'.

A Good Cook Book
Love this book. Love the show, too, which is why I bought the cook book. Now, I have to get the other one, as well...
