Good pool, instructions need work.
The pool appears sturdy and was relatively simple to set up. It includes a skimmer, cleaner, and a volleyball net. However, the instructions are very poorly written and copy edited (please have native English speakers proofread these things). The instructions also try to cover too many different models, so I'm looking at pictures that don't apply to my pool. The pump was more difficult to set up because none of the parts were marked with their names and the exploded diagram wasn't very helpful. I don't necessarily know what the electrolyte looks like and the diagram is very small. Perhaps if we'd been able to watch the included DVDs (which didn't work) it wouldn't been better. One of the connections to the pump needed plumbers tape (not included of course) otherwise it leaked. The ladder is also very rickety. Finally, if you want me to bolt two pieces together GIVE ME THE BOLTS. This is a kit, don't leave out two nuts and two bolts that cost a half cent each to make. All of that said, you get a lot for your money. You need about 100 lbs. of pool sand and 175 lbs. of salt to start. None of this is clear either. Neither of those things are expensive but it's very unclear how much you need. It never says how much sand, and the salt amount is buried in a chart with other models. There should be a flyer with large letters that says these things since for most people it will be the first time they're doing this.

We love it!
Update: After 1 year of use ,Salt water pump included is working but not as it should. It filtrates, but the timer which is supposed to turn the pump off after the set time simply won't turn the pump off! It makes the "working" LED turn off but the bump runs constantly! Now I have to manually every day turn it on and off! God forbid I go for trip for few days. Pump will either have to constantly run or be shut off and I will return to home finding the crystal clear pool turned to swamp! Intex does great pools but their pumps SUCKS! Before this pool system I've had index easy set pool and pump and after one year the pump gave up! Purchased replacement and after one year again !Month in and we have a blast! Don't let the listing fool you . This one is the latest model! I did verify it with intex. Search here on Amazon will advise that there is a newer model available but in fact it is older model. This one is the latest one with salt water and sand filter! I love it! No more washing or replacing filter cartridges! My wife is amazed that there is absolutely no algae and water is as fresh as filled yesterday! No stickiness either as you would feel coming of the ocean. I highly recommend it! I will never go back to fresh water pool and its chlorine disadvantages!

Great Pool
We love this pool. We originally had this pool with the normal filter, we purchased it in 2010. The Filter stopped working in 2013 and we replaced it with the sand filter - so worth it. Having the sand filter saves so much time and money (those "reuseable" filters get pricey). The first year the Sand Filter was flawless and I barely had to touch the pool. Water was bright and clear all summer. Last Summer the Sand Filter was overfilled.so the filter didn't run right all year (my suggestion that it had too much sand was ignored, when we took it down for the winter it was discovered I was right!). This Summer we opened the pool to find the Ultra Frame almost completely rusted through - we had seen small signs of rust for a few year but I assume because the Filter was not working and the PH was always off it caused the rust to escalate quickly. So of course we went looking for a replacement. I found they are discontinuing this size and was disappointed but got a great deal on this and it also gave us a backup sand filter. We opted to use the new kit in its entirety and save our other sand filter for the backup. We've had it up for a month or so now and are not disappointed. I have only had to add chemicals to stablize the PH (alkalinity) but after the first week everything was testing spot on. I love that it runs automatically and I don't have to think about it much. I also love that it has enough power to motor my Hayward Automatic Vaccum (it is slow but does the job).

Love it but have some concerns
We got this pool just before Memorial Day. Set up was pretty easy but did take 2 people. We are in love with the combo sand/saltwater filter system. So far our chemical levels have fell in the normal/ok settings and before with our other pool we struggled to maintain those. Our only concern so far is that while cleaning the side wall around the water level, we are seeing what appears to be cracks or tears right below where the "holds" for the upper liner are stitched in. We have only saw 3-4 of them and I am going to contact Intex and see if we should be worried that it will completely tear. We were hoping to leave this pool up year round but if those tears are going to happen in warm weather .. not sure how it would hold up against a Northwest Ohio winter. Would still at this point recommend this pool (unless we have problems when we talk to Intex) and really hope they stand behind their product!

Great, sturdy pool.....love it!!
Received this pool very quickly after we ordered it. We prepped the ground, which was the hardest this to do, and my husband and I set this up together in a few hours.....we are in our mid 60's, so if we can do it anyone can do it!!! It had a small pin hole in the side which we discovered after the water was in it, but a small patch took care of that problem. The only problem we have is that we did not get the ground level, and we worked on that for two straight days. Leveling is the most important thing because once it is filled and unlevel you have to start over. We have opted to leave it for now and pray that it stays put. It is out of level on one side by about two inches and really shows, so all I can recommend is that you some how figure out how to get an 18 foot diameter area level....it is hard! Other than that, we love the pool, it appears to be made of top quality vinyl, the legs and top rails are very sturdy and the ease of putting it together made it all worthwhile.
